do you guys mean to tell me that starting all your press releases with “BROADWAY AIMED" doesn't guarantee you a transfer? GASP

Chip Zien, Sierra Boggess, Julie Benko and the six talented, handsome gents playing the Harmonists wish their composer a happy birthday on this adorable clip, which includes a featured solo by Sierra

Would appreciate some input on seat selection at the Barrymore.
With the Telecharge Offers, the side orchestra B6-8, or 5th and 6th seats starting at row C, or center orchestra J for $159.
Or Mezzanine A starting at 5th seat or B1 at $109.
Which would you pick? I’m slightly leaning towards Mezzanine given the price difference. Perhaps aisle B is the best?
But Sierra, maybe it’s worth paying more to see her more closely?
As I recall everything happens center stage you won’t miss anything really

I love the Barrymore. Very comfortable and great sight lines.
It's 1,000 seats but feels intimate even in the back row.
As I can remember there’s not a bad seat in the Barrymore. Sit in the cheapest you can find.

I'd go with mezzanine B 1. This is from mezzanine C 2 when I saw The Piano Lesson, and it really was perfect:

Thanks! That’s what I got. I had A1 for Peter Pan but I didn’t like that safe bar at the bottom of the stairs so I think B1 is better.

Hearing offers went out this week to Broadway cast.
How big was the ensemble at the National Yiddish Theater?

The full cast including the people already announced was 26 off-Broadway. I didn't realize it was that big!

I just checked my program. Four of them were offstage: a stand-by for Chip Zien, and three swings. So 22 on stage.

Manilow and Sussman have released the first song from HARMONY!
I love it. As the New York Times review said - these two know how to write a theater song.
"Those skeptical of the fact that the men behind “Copacabana” could tackle serious matters should perhaps listen closely."
"Every note a button on the coat to keep you warm."

Tim Quartier, seems to have something to say about the Harmony casting, “It’s incredible how Broadway continues to hire someone who lies, steals, cheats, gets his equity card taken away from over THOUSANDS of other capable, talented actors who won’t steal other actors valuables. This business is infuriating.”
Anyone know whom they’re referring to?
I wonder how they got their Equity card back? But we know casting doesn’t seem to care about those things. Plenty of terrible people who continue to get work.

Looks like he removed his post, as did his partner who posted that people at that theater should keep an eye on their belongings.
In Variety's feature today about the release of the new single from the HARMONY score, it also includes the debut of the key art. And I think it's really good. Didn't know how to post the image of the poster alone so here's the link.

Barry Manilow and Bruce Sussman to open HARMONY box office at the Barrymore Theatre this Thursday.
This is very smart.
Remember the famous Richard Rodger and Oscar Hammerstein box office pix.

Need I remind you the attempt of how they tried to make Copacabana a Broadway musical? How'd that turn out? It had a brief US tour and never made it to Broadway. Also this show's been kicking around for over 20 years. That's usually not a good sign.

I saw Copacabana in London in 1995 and had a great time. The show ran for over two years and was followed by a year long national tour there. That was a very healthy, respectable run for a musical on the West End in the late 90s. The fact that it didn’t make it to Broadway doesn’t mean it sucked or was a financial failure.

I remembering reading that in Bruce and Barry's contract 'Copa' The Musical couldn't play New York until AFTER Harmony opened.
And in a full circle moment - Warren Carlyle was a chorus boy in the original West End cast.....so sweet.
And
According to Reddit, people are already lined up at the box office for the BO opening event tomorrow
