We have our 4 matildas, and our Miss Trunchbell, now what about the rest of the cast? Anyone one hear anything..? Ensemble?

Ms. Honey is being played by the same woman from London who is the director's wife, I believe.

I've heard that Lauren Kennedy is playing Miss Honey...not sure if there's any truth to that.

Lauren Ward is supposedly recreating the role of Miss Honey for Broadway. Ms. Ward is fantastic in the show, btw, and gave one of my all time favorite musical theatre performances in the title role of VIOLET at Playwrights Horizons long before she was Mrs. Matthew Warchus.

I don't think Celia Keenan-Bolger would ever be considered for the role given her short stature. The adults in Matilda are to tower over the children.

No, that was Haley Flaherty, Lauren Ward is the one on the cast recording. Lauren is actually American, so I can easily see her recreating the role on Broadway.

Well, with Chaplin and Scandalous closing, maybe some of those people will be in the cast, and maybe Leap of Faith. who knows.

It seems as if they are setting everything in stone re: casting. Some possible cast members have even put Matilda artwork on their social media sites. Wonder what the big hold up is with announcing???

Is there any truth to the mom from Sister, Sister playing the librarian role? This article claims she is, but I haven't heard anything official yet. Somehow I could see this working.

Younger Brother- I've also heard that Thayne Jasperson is leaving Newsies for Matilda as well.
