This is terribly sad. I saw her just a few years back and her voice is still glorious. I hope she is cared for and cherished by her family and friends. I wish her well.

I'm very sorry to hear about this. I saw Maureen McGovern perform in concert twice in Pittsburgh. A lovely, elegant lady with a beautiful voice. Wishing her peace, comfort and strength.

I've been hearing about lots of dementia cases lately, people in church, neighbors, former co-workers. It's all very sad.

Here’s Maureen as Mabel in the Broadway revival of THE PIRATES OF PENZANCE. She was one of the many star replacements. She joined the show when it transferred from the Uris Theatre to the Minskoff Theatre in 1981.

I saw Maureen as Marmee in Little Women but I remember her most from a double bill concert she did with Jimmy Webb back in 2011. She was superb. That concert is a treasured memory. Wishing her the best.
