Laura Bell Bundy's name is being thrown around, unbelievable as that is after the whole Chenoweth replacement disaster she took part in....
I can assure, however, that it isn't going to be Kendra, because she recently told a fan her tour contract is up in September and she isnt sure what she is doing from there yet.
Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.

Posted: 4/14/06 at 6:01pmwhat happened with the chenoweth replacement stuff? i remember reading on mandy moore's website that she was offered the role (while i like her-thank gosh she didnt take it) so i almost thought they were going to go all hollywood on replacing her...but i hear JLT did great.

The producers wanted LBB to replace Kristin, since she went on fourty five times or so and had success in "Hairspray."
To make a long story short, she had all sorts of outrageous demands that they would simply not agree to, so she left the show and JLT was brought in, with Megan as the new standby.
