I love Stephanie J. Block and I hope she is doing better!

I'm glad Lisa is getting a chance to perform though! I saw Lisa in Aida as Amneris when it was closing. She was great.

I so hope that Steph can be there for Annaleigh's last show on Broadway also. If she can't be I wish that she could make an appearance and sing the final For Good with Annaleigh.

heyyy guys!

sorry i didnt respond earlier....i havent benn able to get to a computer for a few days!!

well....Wicked was great on Friday (4/25) Stephanie was NOT back,....Lisa Bresica was on for her...and was FANTASTIC....you have nothing to worry about, her performace was amazing. The whole cast gave a great performance!!

I would like Steph to be back for Annaleigh's last too. I wouldn't get disappointed seeing Lisa, but I'm really looking forward to Steph and Annaleigh's last For Good together and if Steph gives a speech at the end.

That would be awfully lame. I'm paying to see a show... with a plot... not a high school reunion. Perhaps at the curtain call, when the show is over... but... I don't want the dramatic experience to be interupted by someone in a track suit.

That said. I bought tickets to see Stephanie J. Block in Wicked and have little interest in seeing the show without here. I will be very disappointed to see someone else... though no doubt they will be wonderful.

I know that everyone says that Lisa is amazing but... I'm seeing it for Stephanie. *tear*. SH*T happens though.. I also hope that's she's there for Annaleigh's last. That would be sad.


Get better Steph!!! I'm supposed to see you in a few days!!!

Hopefully the past 2 weeks off since she posted her update have done her ankle some good.

Easter Bonnet competition should be fun today. She's a good sport to be judging while she heals :)

reference to when idina menzel hurt her ribs on her 2nd to last show, so shoshana bean went on for what would have been idina's last. idina came out in like a frumpy track outfit and did the finale and everyone went nuts.

Has this been confirmed? If so, this is great news! Congrats to Lisa, she deserves it. Lisa and Annaleigh will be together again. So I've decided I'm moving to Chicago... lol. Then I'd go broke.


Damn, Steph has been out 4(?) weeks now almost? I'm so sorry for her. I am really lucky I saw her twice already. The first time I saw her it was right after she was sick and the second time I saw her was on April 5, a mere two days before she sprained her ankle. I hope she's feeling better.

I received a bulletin last night from her myspace fan page that confirmed it. And Lisa said to someone else that she is leaving the Broadway company in mid-May--around her birthday which is the 12.

congratulations to her and annaleigh!!!! chicago is in great hands. i hope to go there on vacation, marriott vacaay club and see both of them again. it will be a goodbye but see you soon. i want to see an opening night video of them.
i wish sjb to get back soon and wish her well again in recovery. it would be so sweet if sjb is back for annaleighs last day.
imagine lisa's last day is may 11th too.

Well.
This stinks.
I live in Chicago and am going to be in New York May 8-11
and I thought, well... I'll get tickets to see Stephanie J. Block in Wicked... I LOVE her in Wicked... hurrah.
Alright... so... Stephanie's not gonna be there... at least I'll get to see Lisa... which is still true... but...
I can see BOTH stars in Chicago a week later.
What a waste.
