Wow, what a cast. Presuming that Durand will be Jud, Jasmine will be Ado Annie and Ana will be Aunt Eller? Could be a treat!

Thrilled to see Jasmine Amy Rogers has truly been booked and blessed since Boop. She's got this, Spelling Bee, and Wild Party at Encores this season.

The Playbill article lists the cast breakdown (with Andrew Durand as Will Parker):

The company will be led by Tony nominee Micaela Diamond (ParadeThe Cher Show) as Laurey Williams and opera baritone Emmett O’Hanlon as Curly McLain. The duo will be joined by Parvesh Cheena (Outsourced, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend) as Ali Hakim, Jonathan Christopher (Sweeney Todd) as Jud Fry, Tony nominee Andrew Durand (Dead Outlaw) as Will Parker, Ana Gasteyer (Wicked, The Rocky Horror Show) as Aunt Eller, Tony winner David Hyde Pierce (Curtains) as Andrew Carnes, and Tony nominee Jasmine Amy Rogers (BOOP! The Musical) as Ado Annie. Additional artists will be announced at a later date.

Jasmine and Andrew will be dynamite, Ana Gasteyer and David Hyde Pierce are luxury casting for a one nighter (especially DHP - that role ain't big), and I don't know enough about Jonathan Christopher (outside of his work in ORATORIO) or Emmett O'Hanlon to have an opinion there.

Very interested to hear Micaela's soprano!

Shuler Hensley is directing, but no choreographer is credited. Can't really do anything in the way of design at Carnegie, but I wonder how staged this will be or if the focus is primarily on the music?

Jonathan Christopher (CHESS' Nicholas Christopher's brother) is going to be amazing in that role.  He's equally talented as his brother.

Hensley has said this concert will include the book scenes but no choreography or costumes.

Has Jasmine returned to BEE ?  She's been out with the flu ... ?  Hope she can make OKLAHOMA on Monday.

Mostly sold out. Tickets pop up ...

Surprised no one's posted about this but I thought this was an utter delight yesterday.  Emmett O'Hanlon has a gorgeous voice and I hope to see him on stage more in the future, and Micaela Diamond can basically do anything at this point.  Andrew Durand and Jasmine Amy Rogers were both delightful as expected, and so was Ana Gasteyer who really excelled at the dry but knowing delivery.  I thought the chemistry between just about all the actors worked really well, and from where I was sitting in the dress circle, it was probably one of the clearest sound mixing jobs I've gotten from these one off concerts.  I was a little surprised they didn't try to do some sort of choreography for the dream ballet, but it was also wonderful to just sit and listen to the orchestra play (though I could tell a couple people around me who weren't as familiar with the show seemed confused).  While I'll probably always think that Carousel is the best R&H score, this was a good reminder that Oklahoma is no slouch either.

I was there too and thought it was fabulous. Almost no notes. So well sung and perfectly cast. Micaela Diamond is such a star. Also, I don’t understand why Shuler Hensley said there wouldn’t be costumes or choreo. There were both. Not to the degree there would be in a fully mounted production - and dream ballet was orch only, but it was not at all pure concert. I guess to manage expectations for people not used to these semi-stagings?

Hensley definitely tried to manage expectations with this.  He told multiple outlets the same things setting a low bar to look better when the truth was revealed (knowing a choreographer was hired etc).

The almost 50 person? orchestra sounded quite wonderful.  Emmett O'Hanlon schooled the cast.

Are there any rumblings about this becoming a full scaled production?

As much as I would love another 'Oklahoma!' revival, after fish's Oklahoma I cannot see Oklahoma in any other light again. Granted, Fish's production was my first exposure to the show so the full orchestrations are weird to me, but alas I can't see a classic production of Oklahoma happening again.

I didn't see the production but heard from friends who did see it, and to say they weren't fans would be an under statement.

It just feels like what the world needs is a good ole classic chestnut Broadway production with a top tier cast. Perhaps thats just my wishful thinking.
