Great to hear Micky is still out there performing. I also own the Pisces, Aquarius and Jones Ltd album on cd it's one of my favorites. Actually I own all of the Monkees recordings on CD.

That's great about Micky. The first 45 I played on my red Close-N-Play phonograph was Pleasant Valley Sunday/Words - a double-sided hit. Would love to see him in something on Broadway sometime.

Here's your first lesson people. Try reading about these peoples lives before you speak.

It is the late John Phillips of The Mamas and The Papas, eldest daughter Mackenzie who recently wrote a book. John has 4 other kids. 2 sons , 2 daughters. There's book out on Johns life written buy him as well. Not to mention one out on The Mamas and the Papas.

Back to Micky, he has four grown daughters who never wrote any books on him. Micky did write his bio back in the 90s and had it republished a few years ago. Now Micky does seem to get cast in the father role. Guess thats what he likes best these days.

Hasn't Micky's wife been in the news for getting part of her rent paid on a NY apartment with a federal program designed for low-income people? I think Micky must be a little hard up for cash, because I also read that he's been continually selling lunch with himself to fans on E-Bay for around $1,500. Good to see he's getting some legit work.

For the person who asked why the Monkees have a cult, it's because of their old TV show. People feel like they know these guys after seeing it in reruns over and over, and you can still get it on DVD.

Oh I know that picture its from a wedding Micky went too. Apparently he wasnt booked for it. Must have been somebody he knew. Typical let him kiss the wedding party lol! No big deal. Fans like to get kisses and hugs too. apparnetly is an offectionate guy. go figuire. and no i'm not one of those fans,. eek

Micky will be in new york nov. 2 for that rockers on broadway event at b b kings. guess micky wont hit broadway yet. but i'm would say mickys thrilled he to be cast in hairspray. he is always saying how he just loves doing musical theatre. I just wehish people could get past the monkees thing with him you know think pout of the box. Micky is very greatfull for the two year experiecence in monkee dome and still sings the tunes. But Micky is a very virtsital entertainer these days. And very accomplished person. you dont realise how muc he has done in his life time till you heard him talk about it on gone country. he has prettty good size list of things.

No one likes grammer, or spelling policeman. And i'm dyslexic and that shouldnt matter to anyone. I free to post just like you guys. As for the past news on Mrs., Donna Dolenz it had nothing to do with Micky or either of thme being broke. Thank you time to move on.

Is he MARRIED? Because then, my dear dyslexic ditz, I think it would be a "big deal"... Jeez.

The fact that you are familiar with a completely random picture I found on pg. 4 of a Google search says too much about you.

Your the one that took the time to dig that picture up and pass judgement on Micky. Not to mention putting your honesty in question buy pretending to be the lady in the pic. Says alot about you buy those actions alone. I may have put Mickys name in the google image search engine same as others and passed over the pic once. So what. What does any of it have to do with Micky in Hairspray? Goin back to the main topic. Its a shame this will be all the way in the uk. You never know some London shows have made it to the us. I wonder if Micky does any of the directing? He used to direct for the London stage as well.

Well, seeing how Hairspray was FIRST an American show, and it just closed less than a year ago here..it is HIGHLY unlikely that it would be coming right back...with or without your beloved Micky.


And for the record...I loved the Monkees as a kid.
