Six Degrees of Separation
Death and the Maiden
... not too long ago I said there should be an AGNES OF GOD revival with Marcia Gay Harden & Judi Dench
OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMGGGGGGGGGGG!!!!
That would be incredible.

...and Alison Pill as Agnes!
I'd love to see TORCH SONG TRILOGY...all 900 hours of it.
And I confess to absolutely loving THE NERD. I've never seen M. BUTTERFLY and would love to. And I concur on ROSENCRANTZ AND GUILDENSTERN.
How about THE GREAT WHITE HOPE for Taye Diggs and Jennifer Ehle?
And one of my favorite plays about the magic of theater, OUR COUNTRY'S GOOD.

I second Torch Song Trilogy.
But who...WHO...could possibly star in it?

Ha! I don't know, maybe a really passionate actor will volunteer?
Torch Song Trilogy and Agnes of God are at the top of my list. I saw them both in their original run in the same week. Still two of the most powerful plays I've ever seen.
I also vote for a few classics ...
The Children's Hour
The Skin of Our Teeth
and a revisal of Idiot's Delight
STREET SCENE
DEAD END
TIME OF YOUR LIFE (especially if it was the Tina Landau Steppenwolf production from 10 years ago)
THE HOT L BALTIMORE
NATIVE SON
The Last Night of Ballyhoo
'Night Mother
Sleuth
The Elephant Man with Benedict Cumberbatch
True West
Are You Now or Have You Ever Been
Well, THE ELEPHANT MAN is supposedly coming back to Broadway with the Bradley Cooper production from Williamstown in the spring.

I've been wanting a Torch Song Trilogy revival for years.

A good revival of THE LITTLE FOXES would be worth seeing these days. But with who? They'd wind up with what's her name from some TV show directed by David Leveaux reimagining the show set in a boxing ring...
THE LITTLE FOXES with Martha Plimpton, of course!
I loved the weird Little Foxes at NYTW with Elizabeth Marvel and Cristin Milioti a few years ago. Did you catch that Roscoe?
Lost in Yonkers with Mariska Hargitay, Chris Meloni (together again at last) and Tyne Daly.
We need to form the BWW Producers League and get these plays on the Great White Way.
Some inspired suggestions here!
I'd love to see 'night Mother with Viola Davis and Diahann Carol.

Whizzer, no I didn't, I seem to remember reading about it.
Martha Plympton as Regina is an inspired choice. I'd also pay to see Rachel Griffiths in the role.
