I love that there's another production of THE GLASS MENAGERIE opening and that we had another production of CAT ON A HOT TIN ROOF and that there will be something like three productions of MACBETH this year. But what are some modern plays that should be seen again?
For me, the top two would be SIDE MAN and THE BEAUTY QUEEN OF LEENANE.

The Pillowman, please. I'd die to see it again.
THE LIEUTENANT OF INISHMORE
I'd love for August: Osage County to come back
There've been a number of productions of ROSENCRANTZ AND GUILDENSTERN ARE DEAD all around the world, but it's yet to be revived on Broadway (and it's been almost 20 years since Roundabout did it off-Broadway), though it is also pretty continuously done by small theatre companies.
Since we've been having fun with British actors in farces lately, I always advocate for NOISES OFF and WHAT THE BUTLER SAW as the two funniest pure farces written in the last fifty years.
I'd also definitely be interested in a full-throated revival of THE KENTUCKY CYCLE, which when I read it aloud with a class was one of the most thrilling and entertaining scripts I've ever encountered, or at least Part I was. Part II started to get old and repetitive, but man Part I packs some never-ending punches.

How was the 2002 revival of The Crucible?
I love how the first three suggestions were The Beauty Queen of Leenane, The Pillowman, and The Lieutenant of Inishmore. Martin McDonagh really is brilliant.
I personally would suggest The Pillowman and The Goat or Who is Syliva?

I am hoping that The Cripple of Inishmaan transfers with Radcliffe.
Other titles I'd love to see again are: Topdog/Underdog, Intimate Apparel, Two Sisters and A Piano, and countless Jose Rivera plays.

Not Broadway, but The Acting Company is doing Hamlet and Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead this season and will be in New York (at The Pearl Theatre) for basically all of January.

I'd give a lot to see a good production of THE PILLOWMAN. I'm kicking myself for not having seen the OBC.
I'll second ROSENCRANTZ AND GUILDENSTERN, too.
Glad to see the love for McDonagh.

I know Twelve Angry Men was just revived not too long ago, but with HLN and Casey Anthony/Jodi Arias/George Zimmerman on the TV and internet everywhere, it's interesting to look at a wonderful take on jury deliberations.

With Albee being re-appraised up the wazoo, I'd like to see COUNTING THE WAYS AND LISTENING as well as EVERYTHING IN THE GARDEN.
Morosco, not too long ago I said there should be an AGNES OF GOD revival with Marcia Gay Harden & Judi Dench. If still give anything to see that!
