Michael's website says he is only performing in the Cleveland production (his home town)....
Also, if you do make it to broadway, definitely hit an evening or Sunday matinee performance (vs. Weds/Sat Matinee). The dancers and lead singer are different.
John Selya is incredibly talented not to mention buff. Worth the money to catch it before MC's contract is up in June.
Holly is a very good dancer. I saw her as "the woman in the yellow dress" in contact, and she was perfect!
"Chicago is it's own incredible theater town right there smack down in the middle of the heartland. What a great city! I can see why Oprah likes to live there!" - Dee Hoty :-D
Holly is a beautiful dancer and I love her as Brenda, so I'm so glad you enjoyed her performance! Who was the Eddie in her cast? I'm just wondering who is filling in, since the usual Eddie in that cast is currently performing with the broadway company.
I love Holly after seeing her filling in for Elizabeth Parkinson on Broadway! I'm seeing the tour on Sunday, and I was wondering if you know what days she performs. (Matinees, evenings...any ideas?)
BT11, you're going to looooooooove Michael Cavanaugh! And yes, he's only doing the tour in Cleveland... I think he'll be out of New York for like 10 days.
If you go to www.hollycruikshank.com she posts her performance dates, so you can plan accordingly to see her as Brenda.
For those asking about Michael Cavenaugh.... I must say that as much as I enjoy him I prefer Darren Holden (the tour 'piano man') so I don't think you'll be dissapointed in the least :)
I saw Darren in Boston and he was tremendous. I'm also hoping to see the tour in Providence. If I may vent, I am a bit peeved at the Providence theater becuase they are only selling tickets for Movin Out on a subscription basis. You have to buy two other shows which I could care less about. Seems rather unfair.
When Billy Joel was on Regis a few months back I think Holly was the dancer for that performance also. I also loved the dance scene during Big Man on Mulberry.
