Dramamamma - I am not in the "business" but was wondering what the heck is the director of SMASH doing if McPhee is "flat" and never changes emotion from scene to scene. My goodness, I would think a decent director could eventually get a better "take" from her than what you and your HS students are observing.

FindingNamo - IMO - a good director could even get someone like me to change emotions and I have never acted before in my life. How well I changed those emotions or expression is a different matter.

^^ I think that Anjelica Huston has it written in her contract that she is the only one who can drink a cocktail. Everyone else is always drinking beer.
