Wait, what.
I mean, if the play was good, then that's great, but I honestly never expected one of the Jonas Brothers to write a straight play.

That's quite a cast for a table reading. I never thought much of him as a singer, but I think his acting has grown on me a little bit.
Plus, it's likely much easier to write a straight play as opposed to a musical. He's actually a talented guy in some respects, so I'm glad he's branching out to something new. Plus, I don't think this could possibly be any worse than when Kathie Lee Gifford took a swing at writing a musical.
(I still have nightmares about that show. Kinda wished Hurricane Sandy had made landfall before Act II started.)
I've been a fan of his for many years. He's an incredibly talented writer (Jonas Brothers Disney-pop lyrics notwithstanding). I'm actually pretty excited to see what he's done.

LOL.
I wasn't as taken by his performance in HTSIBWRT as some, but I do have to admit that despite the cheesy aspect of the Disney and boy band thing, he is very pretty to look at. I concur with geoffrey, show us some more skin.
Awww, you wrote a play? That's great, buddy. You know what I'm gonna do? I'm gonna put it right here, right on the refrigerator, so we can look at it every day.

The title of this thread reminds me of one of the best SNL sketches of the past decade:
Liza Minnelli Tries to Turn Off a Lamp.
Crying shame - in this case, anyway - that Playgirl called it a day.
I fondly remember their celebrity centerfolds thru the years.
We laugh but pretty sure with all those high-powered producers in attendance, that sucker is going to be fast-tracked to Broadway.

In all fairness, he may be the next Ibsen; just a hell of a lot cuter.
