I heard that Robyn Hurder was taking over as well, and I'm fairly disappointed that I won't get to see her because I think she'll be amazing.

I thought Niki Snelson was great acting wise. But the night I saw her I could easily tell she was sick. she was sniffing all during Music and the Mirror and by the end she could even breath. She could hardly get the lines out because she was coughing so badly. I felt really bad for her

I love Robyn Hurder, and it make sense she would want to be in the ACL tour b/c she's engaged to Clyde Alves who plays Mike. I just can't see her as Cassie though, seems too young to me. Who is replacing her in Grease?

That whole entire A CHORUS LINE tour is a wreck. Nikki Snelson is pretty much the only redeemable quality from the cast. here's to hoping they get people who can actually keep the steps when they replace the others.

Also heard a rumor that Amos Wolff (UMich '0 was cast on the tour. Not sure as what role.

The night I saw Nikki she wasn't sick. She acted well, sang fine. But her Cassie dance is not impressive. It only seems to be related to the music at the very end.

I have a friend who is a dancer and has waited her whole life to see ACL, she had only seen the movie. A couple days after seeing it, she said, "I loved it but the Cassie solo dance was a total let down."

Please understand, I am saying nothing about how nice Nikki Snelson is, or if she signs or that if you met her at the LB stage door she was a super down-to-earth person. I am saying I'm not surprised she's not continuing with the tour.

I also disagree with folkyboy. Except for the woman playing Val, I would say the rest of the performers were just fine.

OMG, my friends just told me about this... it doesn't say if Nikki Snelson is performing but the whole cabaret sounds AMAZING. My Boston friends are totally going!

I think this is the first print confirmation- profile piece on Clyde Alves mentions that Robyn Hurder takes over as Cassie next week-

Next week, after the opening is out of the way, Robyn Hurder will arrive from New York to slip quietly into the part of Cassie...

After Alison and Krysta as well as seeing Lyndy, Dena was just blah.. I thought her line readings were forced and her voice was nowhere near as lovely during AtB. She didn't look like a young naive actor/dancer.
