No Buzz for Boop!

Look, before we assume whether Boop becomes a hit or not, let’s just give it a chance first before we presumed it’ll flop. Will it a be a hit? Maybe or maybe not. But we’ll just wait and see how much change they did. I hope it goes well.

Would you suggest… The Betty Boop Bridge

I didn’t even realize this was opening in NYC and have no desire to see it, but I’m really rooting for it now because of OP. Hell I may even try to go see it now.

Was that around the time we stopped hearing from Broadway flash? Just a thought. ;)

Great logic! Spite me and waste your cash! Good one

And we should believe you because? Why is your opinion the "right" one? You are entitled to your opinion - but let anyone that wants to see it for themselves form their own. There is no show in existence that every person who sees it feels the same way about it. Some will love it, some will hate it; and many others will fall elsewhere on the spectrum.

It's not even like you have any track record here to give your opinion any weight. And even if you did, people can STILL make up their own minds.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

OP are you sure this "investor friend" isn't just a voice in your head?

Broadway Star that is funny. Are you in the cast? Or just a cheerleader that avoids bad shows? This wonderful platform of free speech allows us to pass on our views on good and bad shows. Sadly, people like you are offended when someone sees a stinker! Oh well, going to listen to my Candide soundtrack now, another dud. lol 😝

No Buzz for Boop!

Do you know how I know you know nothing about Broadway or theater in general? You just called a cast recording a soundtrack 😂

Flash's last post was indeed around mid-December (though I could have sworn it was much earlier in the fall sometime)

Also, for the "this is my last post" poster, this is not an airport, you don't need to announce your departure.

I love all of the detectives. Hilarious nonsense. I shall return when the reviews are out and the closing notice. Bye Bye Boopie!

I don't care if people call it a soundtrack or a cast recording. I always thought this was beyond being petty and condescending. Be happy they are talking theatre at all.

wow - talk about misreading the room ...

back in the three-dimensional universe you'd have a point worth discussing. but in the alternate reality that is this thread, you are almost certainly the only person who wants to hear the OP keep discussing theatre.

I should have been more clear. Be happy ithat people in general. I had to go back and look as unlike many I have already blocked the OP.

I have achieved my goal; debate. For those that don’t like a spicy conversation about a truly mediocre show, go watch infomercials and look under the pillow for what the fairy godmother left you. What a hilarious group of self absorbed sycophants.

That's cute. Seems the only debate you've created is whether you're a troll or a clueless, bad friend that's hyper fixated on one show. Spicy, indeed.
