I'd imagine they were referring to be able to just stream it to a TV with ease which Instagram is not able to do on its own. A computer is not much better of an option over a phone.

No one which is why Instagram.com exists. Enjoy it from your computer or tv.
This is so lovely of this incredible cast and crew, they do not have to do any of this, so it's deeply appreciated by many people."
Well that settles it! The Mayor of Broadway has spoken!

It's very easy to stream Instagram video from an iPhone to a TV, specifically by navigating to instagram.com in a browser and using AirPlay. I'd never done it before, and it took me all of 30 seconds to get the show's Tonys performance on Insta playing on my TV.

WOW, would you look at that?! A non condescending and informative response!
Thank you, Taffy! I’ll see what I can do.

Are they running late? A bit behind schedule? Or am I even more technologically challenged than I believe (535 EST)

Having just got off the roads before 5pm, it’s likely that the “short” trip from theatre to theatre, in addition to clearing their dressing rooms, took longer than anticipated.
Around 5pm, it started really kicking up

Am I missing it? Was the video from a few posts above the live event?

Just saw an update on Instagram. Will begin in a few minutes. Clips we're seeing must have been from the matinee performance today.

All of which depends on what phone/laptop you have and what SmartTV/Smart Device connected.

I'm not being condescending, I'm explaining. Point blank, streaming from Instagram to a TV is more complex (especially for those here that are not tech savvy) than being able to just use your youtube app to watch a livestream.

This is actually working very well in the cabaret concert format.
Wasn't this the beginning of DEAD OUTLAW's embryonic life, too?

Audio is absolutely phenomenal for this. Kudos to the OM team for putting this together so quickly
