I know some of you don't like Tarzan (And the 2007 BWW award for Understatement of the Year goes to...), but please! I'm still clutching my chest and shuddering. Would you really wish him on ANY show besides Grease, because they deserve what they're getting?

Though I bviously pray something of this nature would never happen. I would actaully go see the dreck that is Tarzan on his first night, because I honestly think that Theatre as an art form could die the night that this happens. And I would want to be there, by its bedside, comforting it as it expires.
I mean think about it. This would be the culmination of everything that most of us hate about broadway: A show that is commodity over substance, with a bad pop score, reusing some old songs, based on a movie, produced by Disney, with all the spectacle of rope swinging, and terrible stunt casting playing to huge audiences. I am pretty sure this would be the theatrical equivalent of the Lethal Injection.

What couldn't he do? Fiyero, the Boy in Fantastiks, Tarzan, Joseph-- man this kids future is unlimited. He will be busy though with his recording career and Idol win for a long long time.

There is a great report ciculating on the web today about Sanjaya being the most popular contestant in Idol's history. He's had more news coverage and more web searches than anyone ever. Idol is even tailoring their shows to focus more on Sanjaya-- note last night's "Sit down, get up" act with Ryan Seacrest. They've also gone to avoiding showing him before he performs (Late in the show) to keep the "What will he do with his hair!" speculations flying.

Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)
