Oh christ, what I'd give to be on the west coast right now and able to see this production. PLEASE let this be a tryout for the Broadway transfer and let both of 'em reprise these roles; I'd pay DAMN good money to see that! Seriously amazing photo. *_*

It def isn't a tryout for the Broadway production. They plan to transfer the London version, and this is not related. I'm wouldn't, however, be surprised if one or both were cast. Especially O'Hara, who always garners great reviews.

Yeah, I kinda meant a casting tryout. ^_^;; I saw the West End production and it was absolutely wonderful; I'd love an opportunity to see what Kelli and Mano do with it and would DEFINITELY fly to NY to see 'em.

Saw it last night--hate to break it to you--they may have been having an off night but they weren't that good. He was all about posturing with no passion, she didn't seem to know what she was doing until she got to "Move On". The whole evening had a horrible lack of humor and energy. I think Jason Alexander can be partly to blame--but Manoel and Kelli didn't do a great job. Maybe they'll get better with time but it was incredibly dissapointing because I've really like Kelli in other things.

^ No offense to all the giddy fan girls, etc. But I've said since before this production was announced - that I couldn't see Mano in this role AT ALL.
