So if the track listing is accurate, the changes between London and Broadway would be:

-No Overture
-Downtown is replaced by It's Raining Men
-I've Never Been to Me is cut
-Venus is replaced by Material Girl
-Both Sides Now is replaced by True Colors
-Thank God I'm A Country Boy is cut
-Boogie Wonderland is cut
-SOS/The Morning After is cut
-Confide in Me is replaced by Like A Prayer

"Thank God I'm a Country Boy" is in. They just didn't record it.

This sounds as bad as the Original Australian Cast Recording ....It's the same recording producer, the show's arranger/orchestrator. Has no idea about how to make a cast recording.....no concept, no nothing.

Also in the Toronto run was the Floor Show.

Can't say if these recording omissions mean the songs were cut from Toronto to Broadway though.

^ Nick Adams said on his twitter that "Thank God I'm a Country Boy" is still in so unless it was cut recently they just chose not to record it for whatever reason.

I doubt they'll cut the Overture. It was a GREAT start to the show, and unlike in Australia, the Overture flows straight into IT'S RAINING MEN. So it'll probably be on the CD as that track.

At least I hope so!

The only change I'd make, really, is cutting ...COUNTRY BOY. It really has nothing to do with anything in the show.

In Australia/London, the overture flowed straight into "Downtown", and they are two separate tracks on the Australian album. I doubt the overture will be on the Broadway Cast CD.

Yah, but I feel like they would label the track "Overture/It's Raining Men" if they in fact had the overture recorded and attached to the song. If people put on the track expecting to hear It's Raining Men, they do not want to fast forward 3 minutes just to get there.

"What's Love Got To Did With It" is not on the cast recording. Seems they lost the rights or something.
