I want to go see this. It looks as if it is really easy to get there from Manhattan. I should bite the bullet and buy a ticket.

I always felt The Full Monty was better than The Producers.
A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

This is really some inspired casting.

The Fully Monty totally kicks The Producers' ass. Sure, The Producers is good the first time, but after that it's not funny anymore. I could listen to The Full Monty all day.

I hope the Paper Mill staff is well rested.
Begin at the beginning and go on till you come to the end: then stop.

They also should have gotten Stritch to play Hopkins in 1776.

This is the funniest thing that's been posted in quite a while.

Has anyone ever tried student rush at Paper Mill before? What's it like?
I MUST see this. Inspired casting for one of my favorite musicals.

My kids may try it this weekend for 1776, and if they do I'll let you know how it goes.

I have done student rush for the last two seasons and it was not bad at all. I would get there a half hour before the show and get a pretty decent seat in the orchestra. The rush cost is $20.

Do you know if the rush is one ticket per student ID or two?

Thanks, madbrain and Beauty. The website says one per ID.

I attended a local fundraiser tonight and won two Papermill tickets! Guess what I'm using them for?

According to ATC, the rest of the cast is rumored to include:
Wayne Wilcox as Jerry, Michael Rupert as Harold, Christopher J. Hanke as Ethan, Milton Craig Nealy as Horse, Jen Colella as Georgie, Michelle Ragusa as Vicki, and Kelly Sullivan as Pam.

Tonya Pinkins: Then we had a "Lot's Wife" last June that was my personal favorite. I'm still trying to get them to let me sing it at some performance where we get to sing an excerpt that's gone.

I love how the title of this thread is "Paper Mill Nabs Elaine Stritch..."
Nabs? Nabs her from where? Is she SO busy that it is inconceivable that an actress whose prime has long passed was cast in a supporting role at a well respected regional theatre?

Hanke is in it? I'll be there. Though it's sad since he's already played the role before on tour, right? Shouldn't be doing other things? But whatever, I'll totally go.
