Oh, I love that too. Who the hell is Judy though? I think she says "Hi" to her after "Meadowlark." I immediately thought Judy Prince, but there were and are other Judy's out there.
So, just so I'm clear... everyone's copies have the skippy noises at the end of "Because the Night" and the start of "Mr. Tambourine Man"? Like, little clicks? I just want to make sure there wasn't some weird glitch when I downloaded this off iTunes, as my internet's been iffy lately.
"Your lyrics lack subtlety! You can't just have your characters announce how they feel! That makes me feel angry!"
I purchased my as a CD and there are no skips or audio issues, other than the quality shifting between numbers, which is expected for what is essentially a suped-up bootleg.
I've been recommending the recording to people, but I'd hate for them to buy it on iTunes only to get one that was uploaded from a CD that has skips or scratches. At least that's what it sounds like in the 30-seocnd preview iTunes has.
When I see the phrase "the ____ estate", I imagine a vast mansion in the country full of monocled men and high-collared women receiving letters about productions across the country and doing spit-takes at whatever they contain.

I got my copy from iTunes, and there are distortions (the "skippy noises" mentioned above) at the end of "Because the Night" and the beginning of "Everything I Am."
I reported the problem to Apple, and just received a response. They say that the songs in question have been "submitted for investigation," but a they cannot say when the issue with these tracks will be resolved -- possibly as long as a few weeks. But at least they gave me a few free replacement song credits.
My CD's just fine...no distortion. It's interesting that the recordings are as clear as they are. I have an "unofficial" video of this. It's very interesting to see. I've been in love with this show ever since I heard Heaven is a Disco a couple of years ago on a random myspace page. It's things like this and the Merv Griffin performance that make me see why she's the huge star she is.
Rainbow High IS down a whole step from the show. Honestly after having done 6 shows that week (2 of which were that day) and having to belt all of that music at midnight, I'd take the bloody key down as well. It would be nice to have that recorded live in the original key. It's SO much better than the show version.
This is a great recording. It makes me wish she recorded more when she was younger.
