Not being a hater, but she is not what the show needs. Please, don't do it! There are so many actresses, singers and dancers, why would anyone hire a model?

This makes me mad.

Have you ever heard her sing or act or dance? Maybe she is actually talented. And maybe their are going to be three more kids who are going to see the show because she is in it, which will help your show every little bit helps. For you to protest against that is stupid. Until you have seen her, who are you to talk bad against her.

You are right, I haven't seen her, I am not saying she is not talented, but I am convinced she is not what the show needs. Constantine has a following(I am not a fan of his) but he would be a good thing for the show, Curry doesn't have a following. If they want to cast a "celebrity" to boost the box office, this girl is not quite there, not even a celebrity.

I'll preface this by saying that I'm not an Adrienne Curry fan in the least, and that I'd be very sad if they did cast her in the end, but you'd be surprised at how large her following is. Keep in mind that she was on America's Next Top Model AND had her own reality T.V. show, however horrible and ridiculous it was. Viewers of both will definitely come and see her. Is she a real box office draw? No. But she's got a following that is probably as large as Constantine, if not larger.

And maybe i am wrong, maybe she does have a following, which are some men who drool over her and see her as an object of desire and would never EVER go to see a show on Broadway.
Women see her as competition and as a girl they can't look like, even if they want to, and when you are doing Broadway, I'd say usually the wife chooses the show, or the gay friend, and none of these are going to wanna see a model.

I think many would go for the chance of being able to see her in the flesh. And she's probably got a female fanbase as well, even if she is a model.

I'm just sad they're considering replacing Felicia Finley. She is amazingly perfect as Linda.

If they have to replace Felicia because of her unfortunate injure, it'd be sad because she is just perfection, but it would be just sad if they choose this girl. I am for "stunt casting" but cast someone who is famous. Diana DeGarmo, Haylie Duff or Constantine are famous at least.

well in my opinion its not terrible. i really enjoyed the show. so for me, adding someone such as adrienne curry could ruin it. sure, it may boost some ticket sales, but not that much.

Ok, this is AMAZING to me:

felicia apparantly BROKE a rib sometime durring (or maybe it was after or something) the tony awards?? and um... I saw her like.. maybe a WEEK or two (ok, prob more like two haha) later and she was TEARING up that stage, going all out on everything!! she's been dancing her butt off AND doing friggin four splits in a row with a broken rib this entire time!! granted apparently she was doing only like 5-6 shows a week because of it at first and now she's gettin back to 8, but still! and then at the stage door she like.. did NOT seem to be in any pain whatsoever! I dont get it.. am I completely overestimating how dibilitating breaking a rib is, or is this girl just like.. superwoman? haha

oh, and yeah
I DEMAND that they do not replace our felicia. If they replace felicia, no matter WHO it is, I can guarantee the attendance rate will go down. Felicia is like.. one of the MAJOR major standouts of the whole show, even with only like 10 mins on stage

you clearly have no idea how ticket sales work. When no names (to the non-theatre community) leave shows, it doesn't affect ticket sales, especially when they are replaced with names (to the non-theatre world).

you clearly have no idea how ticket sales work. When no names (to the non-theatre community) leave shows, it doesn't affect ticket sales, especially when they are replaced with names (to the non-theatre world).

ok, ok, I shouldn't have said "no matter WHO". haha. what i mean is... someone like adrienne, who's like... not that big of a name. And I simply mean because I think it would be a HUGE turn off to the people who have been coming regularly and stuff to support the show, because the majority of big wedding singer fans ADORE felicia. And I think a bunch of those people might be so turned off that they just wouldn't come anymore. I could be wrong, but some people have already said that. I'm just sayin, if they're gonna stunt cast that role it better be someone who really CAN bring in ticket sales for sure, because if it's not all its gonna do is make even LESS people come

yeah, thats what I meant :) sorry about that, I was just kinda mad at even the thought of felicia not being in the show haha

I know that Felicia has a limited box office draw. But Adrianne does? I don't think so, get a name to sell the show, not a nobody. I still dream of them hiring Mandy Moore or Jennifer Garner to play Julia. I can only dream.

thats linda. no doubt about it. NO ONE else in the show has multiple roles and splits

and um.. felicia actually does have some box office draw I think. Its just a little bit under shadowed by Stephen and Amy, and prob tina too. But its VERY much there- have you SEEN all the posts saying how amazing felicia is? haha. Not saying she has a HUGE draw, I'm just saying she has SOME.

and I DEF dont think adrianne will have much more. at ALL. I honestly dont. I dont think she's that popular

Yes, I have seen those posts. I am talking about the general public, they are the people who are going to see the show and keep it open. BWW alone can't keep a show running you need more than just us.

and the only on int he cast that might, might have any significant box office draw is Stephen Lynch, everyone else is a no body (to the non-theatre community) and even stephen is a nobody to most of america.
