Does anyone else recognize the guy in the gray hoodie? He looks really familiar to me. I really feel I've seen him at a bunch of stage doors before. I think he's a seller. Has anyone else seen him or does he post here?

The expression on his his face leads me to believe it is a job for him. He's not the least bit impressed Dolly is so close to him. I am so happy for those stage-doorers and a little jealous. However, if I ever go that close to Dolly I would start talking gibberish and my gay cranium would explode confetti all over her. It would be too much for me to bear.

I dont recognize the guy in the hoodie but he dont look happy.

The fact that he has so many different items (check out the bag below him) for the cast to sign leads me to believe it's definitely work for him.

She's probably going to lose the Tony for Best Score to Elton John. But God bless her for showing up, smiling, being totally charming, and a boost to the economy.

That guy is definitely selling those posters. He and his friend, who's to his right, got at least 8 posters signed between the two of them. When she came out she started at the far end of the stage door and he went around and followed her down the barricade and came back and said "I got a few" to his friend and then pushed to get back to the front to get more. I was standing right. behind him. You can see my hair to the right of him. Dolly only signed for the people that were right up against the barricade so there were lots of very disseminated people. It doesn't bother me that she didn't sign everything for everyone, just that she signed for people who are obviously only happy there getting an autograph to make money.

Thanks for confirming my suspicions on this guy. I saw him at the Pal Joey stage door and he was trying to talk to me. I was trying not to be rude but not encourage him at the same time. He knew way too much about Sutton Foster's comings and goings at Shrek for me to be comfortable. If he hadn't been creepy I might not have remembered him.

Can we have this picture blown up and sent to all of the stage door guards?

Really? He got a FEW? Wow! I wasn't able to get ANYTHING singed cause I kept getting pushed out of the way even though I was in the front row. And the security guard kept standing right in front of me so that didn't help!

How much money is there in Sutton Foster's autograph? She's great and all but in the grand scheme of things she's not really anybody. I doubt there's that much demand for her autograph.

It's people like him that make stagedooring less pleasurable. Pushy and rude - just trying to make a buck.

I saw this guy at Next To Normal. He was doing the same as here. trying to get autographs of the entire cast crew and creative team. He had two posters and asked everyone to sign them. He is such a creep

If it was for charity, they would send Dolly a letter with their non-profit number on it,not just send some random freak to the stage door.

He's a seller, and people like him piss of some performers so much that they don't sign for people anyone whith more than one item.

OR, if the actor asks them their name, and they say, "I don't want my name on it", then they are selling it.

Autographs are worth less if they are made out to a specific person. I know actors who will only sign if the person tells them their name.

Out of all the stage doors I have been to, I've never had an actor ask me my name. Maybe because I'm 14 and don't look sketchy.
