That's too bad about the pro shot.
I'm so glad I attended on Sunday. Ragtime is my favorite show, so I would not have missed the closing performance. What an emotional afternoon. Joshua got choked up when he went to sing, "I see his face" at the very end of the show. I saw this revival 4 times and always caught something new with each viewing. Caissie, Joshua, Brandon and Nichelle all grew in their roles throughout the run. I actually preferred Ben Davis as Father.

Honestly I'd rather have just the album for the voices than to be reminded of the direction and what the production looked like.

Sure, the direction and design were underwhelming, but don't you want to SEE these exquisite performances?

Their last show was such an incredible experience. Everyone was top of their game (as they have been for the last 11 months) and the place was on fire. It was so electric, emotional, cathartic, and felt so good to be in that space with everyone who felt the same way.
Congratulations to everyone who worked on this show. Breaking record after record, countless accolades, blowing away audiences 8 times a week and extraordinary performances by everyone. All so well deserved. I will never forget this production; thank you thank you thank you.
