I'm hearing rumors that both are possible... Anyone have the inside scoop?

It's quite possible that there could be a tour of the show. The majority of Broadway shows are filmed for archival purposes. Anything filmed for PBS, or commercial release is extremely expensive. Time will tell.
Where did you hear this? Or, are people just hoping?

It could be filmed for Live from Lincoln Center, but I'm not sure the public funding and grant money to do that still exists. A tour is certainly possible.

I can't imagine there won't be a tour. The size/length of the tour is really the question.

Lincoln Center Theater posted on their Instagram stories yesterday three Ragtime posters lined up in a row with "Tomorrow" placed above each of them. I wonder if they're teasing something about any of those possibilities.
Meanwhile, we're all still waiting for the live capture of the 25th anniversary concert to premiere. I've heard it's currently on hold because of the revival.

It's certainly possible but not every acclaimed revival has to go on tour. If it does I could see maybe a mini-tour a la Into the Woods but no guarantees on casting.

There’s some major commercial producers behind the Ragtime revival, aside from LCT. I’d bet they would love to tour this.

Yes, and a tour and/or London production is basically the only way they could make some real money, since they'll just earn a royalty from the New York production. So I think a tour is almost certain...a good booker should have no trouble getting them at least 20-40 weeks.
As for filming, that would probably have to be an independently-funded commercial endeavor, and then they license it to PBS or Live From Lincoln Center as one small part of the distribution plan.

I wonder if they'd try to get Joshua Henry for a UK transfer so he could make his West End debut. I would love that. I think audiences would too.

It wouldn't shock me if they got all 3 Broadway stars to open a London run. There's a good chance it takes both Actor and Actress at the Tonys this year, Caissie already has a bit of a profile over there from N2N, and if they're bringing two they might as well bring along Uranowitz too (my favorite of the trio).

I could see this maybe following other LCT productions and doing a limited London run at somewhere like the Barbican (like South Pacific did). Its built in audience base would help sell a show that isnt really known over here.
Only problem with that is 2027 is already taken up there with Sunday in the Park with Bailey and Grande. Would be unusual to do 2 big musicals there in one season. But not impossible I guess.
Not sure a more commercial west end production (like the king and I at the Palladium) would fare so well, unless they cast some names to sell to general public.
