Glad to see it at last confirmed... what a great cast.

I thought they were going to gt a real Hollywood star to play the part.
Wow, I can't believe the cast!!
Yeah, okay...officially buying tickets ASAP. Can't wait!
I don't think this is the type of show (or series) that needs a big Hollywood star to attract attention. I suspect many tickets go to subscribers, and decent single tickets have been unavailable for months.
The cast is quite exciting.
Told ya so.
Please God, let there be a recording from this.

For a variety of reasons, I'd more or less crossed this one off my list. But Raul's presence is enough to make me go to anything. Welcome back to musicals, Raul -- you've been sorely missed!!!!
Yay!!! Perfect. His voice sounds like it was made to sing "Everybody Says Don't."
So excited for this.
On a non-Raul related note. I really hope they include "There's Always A Woman" for Donna and Sutton!
Sutton is now officially the star I'm least interested in seeing in this show. (although am still very excited for her, especially since Casey Nicholaw is directing.)
I'm so excited. This is going to be my first Encores! show, and I can't wait!
SO happy this was confirmed. CANT WAIT.
I second that, dear god please record this!
How disappointing. (Sorry, luvtheemcee)
I LOVE this. ACW is at the moment the show I'm looking forward to most! *Hyperventilates*
"With So Little To Be Sure Of" is the number I'm most interested in seeing. I wonder if Raul and Sutton will have great chemistry, or if their voices will go nicely together? I hope so!
At first I wasn't interested. I thought it too soon to erase memories of Bernadette, Madeline Kahn, Angela Landsbury and Scott Bakula. Now, I can't resist, and I took advantage of the discount code so I am stoked!!
Very happy. I knew about this already but nice to see it official. And I don't need a personal apology if you don't feel the same way, haha.
Raul and Sutton sound nice together. I'll be curious to see what their chemistry is like in a different kind of show than Leap of Faith.
When Sutton was first announced for this show, I felt kind of blah about it.
Then when the rumors about Harriet Harris joining her were circling, I was thinking that this was going to be dreadful.
Then Donna Murphy joined instead and I was elated.
Now that Raul has been added to the cast, I think this could stack up to be one of the best Encore! ever.
Totally looking forward to this - I may see it more than once...and yes, I too hope that it is recorded.
Man, those Harriet Harris rumors were SCARY!
Since I already have a ticket to this (and pretty much planned most of my upcoming trip around it), I couldn't be happier about the casting. I literally just did a happy dance around the room. Yes, literally. So far speed-the-plow is the only time I've seen Esparza. Finally, I get to see him in a musical! The fact that it's another Sondheim musical just makes me even giddier.

Would it be wise to send to the City Center while Anyone Can Whistle is playing to get my Rocky Horror Show Playbill signed by Esparza? I don't want to my Playbill get lost in the mail. :/
I feel like the bigger problem with that is that it's a very short run. You'd have to be sure it got there in time, and with enough time for him to send it back. I think you'd be better off waiting until he's in a show with a longer run.
I need to get a ticket still. I was putting it off until I was sure about this -- hopefully I haven't waited too long. I'm trying to decide if I want to see it more than once, which I'm sure I'd like to do, but it might be overkill with such a short run. I'm BEYOND ready to see him do a Sondheim show again.
