Posted: 12/15/11 at 4:46pmI have heard from a friend of mine on a national tour that there is going to be a Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat Revival in 2012. Anyone have any news of this?

Posted: 12/16/11 at 12:45pmI really liked the last revival and I've always wondered why it closed so quickly. The tour did really well.

Do they still do a shortened replay of the entire show at the end?
When I saw the tour during the 90s, the show was so short that they had to pad it out by basically doing a truncated version of the entire show once the full show was over. It seemed sort of awkward and I wasn't sure if they still did that or if they found some other solution to the problem of the show's brief running time. Just curious!

Posted: 12/16/11 at 8:01pmYou're talking about the megamix? Yes, they still do that. And if you don't sing along they do it again, six times.

Posted: 12/16/11 at 8:10pmIf this happens and Webber still brings in his Wizard of Oz that would give us Phantom, Evita, Jesus Christ Superstar, Joseph, and the Webber Wizard Rainbow Mix all playing on Broadway at the same time. I'm scared...

Revival of JOSEPH... #17
