Richard Blake's Thoughts on Nick Lachey as Warner...

Richard just posted his first blog on his website.

In the blog, he talks about the real deal about Nick Lachey and talks about cast changes for the future. Hope you all enjoy...and do comment on the blog...he's convinced no one is actually going to read it :-P

an audio blog- that's different.

Is this the first confirm of Annaleigh going to Wicked? I'd heard it for a few weeks now but hadn't read anything official yet.

ps: I would pay money to watch Richard in a cookoff with someone.

Yes, Annaleigh is Glinda. I've heard it for a few weeks now, but I guess it's official.

He should do a cook off with Nick Lachey...whoever wins can be Warner :-P

Different in a positive way, I Hope :-P

I totally like the audio blog, but it was just a tiny bit creepy how *quiet* it was in the background- no noise evah- so that was a little weird. But it was different in a positive way for me. :)

I think it's because he was doing it at home...he probably did that on purpose so he didn't have to shout on NYC traffic or anything. Leave a comment and maybe next time, he will do it in a noisy, overcrowded place just for you. :-P

I just need a small noise- a cell phone, the sound of a radio in the background. Just a little something so I'm not picturing him trapped in a dark room and you not letting him out until he does his blog...it does the blog, or else it gets the hose again! :)

Yes different in a good way.

It was a lil NPR though. :)

I love how he described what he cooked for dinner. He made me really hungry! But I think Annaleigh will be an adorable Galinda. Hopefully she'll get to go on for Elle at least once before she leaves.

Here is my dumb blonde moment, what is NPR?

And I am glad you guys enjoyed it...it will make him happy to know people actually listened.

NPR is National Public Radio. SNL used to spoof it with Gasteyer & Shannon.

Aha, I think I remember that skit. Thanks!

Yeah, the audio blogs were done because Richard isn't really a computer person and doesn't like the typing thing...so all of them will be audio...but I know you all want to know what he made for dinner.

re: Richard Blake's Thoughts on Nick Lachey as Warner...

I saw Annaleigh go on as Glinda during the Philadelphia run of Wicked last year, and she didn't land any laughs. Huge disappointment. I'm really surprised to hear she'll be doing that role with the Broadway company.

That's so hot a straight guy who can cook. Wow. I'm looking forward to more blogs. And Nick needs to stay away from Legally Blonde. At least until Richard moves on to bigger and better things. Don't put Richard out of the job. That's not cool.
