This Bit*h Usher at Rock Of Ages couldn't be more of a cu*t tonight. Standing in the way of everything during the finale, accusing some of taking pictures while the whole show people were wasted and taking pics and video. She was a manly thing with glasses in the mezzanine. She was blocking my way during the whole curtain call. I hope she drops dead. I was treated better at 101 Dalmations last night.

Posted: 4/11/10 at 12:31amShe was in my way and I heard her threatening to call the cops over a stupid picture. Clearly based on her age and appearance, this job is all she has in life. I paid $106- with the fees and this disaster had to ruin it.

I doubt that she ruined Rock of Ages, because the show is good regardless of the ushers. But yes, I think I know who you are talking about, they are quite unpleasant.
Yet, your comment about how far she will get in life is inappropiate, you are showing no class by saying that. I think they are mean because the manager is tough on them too. Yet, I enjoyed the show all the times I saw it.

When you make a six figure salary, you can certainly critique those who don't do they're job properly and nicely especially when the tasks are so easy and meaningless. That usher should try working in the real world! F the management, how many people can lay out $106 for a show where the audience bounces up and down for liquor after every song.
I was treated better at 101 Dalmations last night!

Dude, I know you are angry and should be. But, that quote alone makes you sound like an ass!

Posted: 4/11/10 at 3:09amI just think the OP is full of donkie dookie, because I know all the ushers at Rock and they all do their jobs quite wonderfully. I know exactly which usher is being discussed, too.

That same usher (i am pretty sure by description) found and put my long green leather like gloves aside for me. she took me to them and was very gracious. I had "nothing but a good time" at ROA. i heard a few "turn the camera off hon" comments but yeah, nothing rude.
but hey, if the OP says it happened, who is to dispute it. no one can be great all the time.
ps. even the washroom attendant was nice..she kinda reminded me of Cyndi Lauper.

I would hope that someone who makes a six-figure salary would know the difference between "their" and "they're." It would've been just fantastic if he/she had used the more correct "his/her!" And, the dog breed is spelled "dalmatian." But I suppose grammar and spelling don't matter if one is "working in the real world."
Alas, more proof that money doesn't always afford a person an education, but it can buy a high horse.

Why do you feel the need to mention your salary, (whether it's true or not) What has that got to do with anything?
Somehow I think you're leaving something out of this story. The usher randomly decided to stand in front of you?

I guess you know all, Kreskin.

absolutely. usher's do a job. they are asked to watch certain things. and i paid a lot more for my ticket and if i had a six figure salary i would've paid even more. $106.00 - like that is breaking the bank for the OP, come on! why not buy a more expensive ticket if you make such great money?

If it is, so what?
Clearly, based on your posts, you are a 12 year old part of the lower anatomy.

I don't know what their policy is during curtain calls but if pictures were still not allowed to be taken then she was doing her job.
And newsflash, she does work in the real world. If you are so high and mighty, why weren't you and your six figures in a prime spot in the Orchestra section? And how far you go in life is not decided by how much you make. Trust me, I know and I am sure a lot of people here know. And I would venture to say that a lot of people who make less than you will go farther than you.

Posted: 4/11/10 at 1:02pmTo the OP, since when does the amount of money you make mean that your automatically better than someone else? If that is the way you were looking at the situation then that is a very sad and pathetic way to view it. Money does not dictate entitlement. Furthermore, it sounds like you were taking a picture, if that was the case and you got yelled at for doing so, good for the usher. You should know that your not allowed to take a picture at any time in the theatre.
