So she was a bitch, a c*nt AND was manly? Sounds like a mixed misogynistic metaphor to me.
Also, if you make six figures, why wouldn't you spring for better seats?

what a doucher.
first off, there isn't a show on broadway that let's you take "one little picture," you dumbass.
secondly, unless you are in the HIGH six figures you are simply living middle class in today's economy and have nothing to brag about. Sorry, Richie Rich.

Any usher at ROA earns their paycheck with that crowd. You could have asked her to move or spoken to someone after and tried to come up with a rational, mature solution.
Any usher who has to deal with people drinking at their seats deserves sainthood in my book. Theatre patrons are annoying enough without alcohol, big hair and glittery cleavage.

Having been in that position many times, I appreciate that, Bettyboy.

I think we need to take your six figures away and put you in an usher's job and see what you think then. having been a head usher at a theatre I think they are underpaid. And did you really think you were going to get any support with a post like this?
I think you need to see "Enron" next with your six figures. But I am thinking, you wouldn't see what they did wrong.

Posted: 4/11/10 at 7:37pmI work at an amusement park, and I must admit, if I see a chance to correct a guest I do. Usually they give me lip, and once in a while I report them to security (gotten guests arrested). The guests pay big money too. I have to admit, sometimes I correct people so often when it's unnecessary I get a bit of an adrenaline rush. It's human nature. Although I don't think an audience member ever punched an usher in the face before.....:/

"secondly, unless you are in the HIGH six figures you are simply living middle class in today's economy and have nothing to brag about. Sorry, Richie Rich. "
Perhaps with the economy today in Manhattan? or other places. There are places that you do not need a high six figure salary in order to be rich and are most definately not considered middle of the road.
It is funny how someone brags about their salary and then admits to a middle of the road priced ticket and complains about the rules. ugh!

Posted: 4/12/10 at 12:35amThis thread reminded me how wonderful the ushers for ALNM and Promises, Promises were when I saw them last week. Every single one of them went out of their way to be nice to all of the audience members with whom they interacted. Bravo to them!

I gave the OP the benefit of the doubt and assumed they were still drunk and hostile when they posted.
"Six figures" is such euphemism. There's a $899,999 difference between one end and the other.
