Oh.. I forgot the best part.. they all trucked it into Starbucks at 47th and 8th and spent 3 bucks on cups of coffee!

ok I totally saw them at that Starbucks earlier today- I was walking past and saw three (I only noticed three) girls sitting at the table in the window, one with a veil and two others.
I just figured it was plain old NYC craziness- didn't make the connection that they were supposed to be dressed up like TWS folk.

As if it's not hard enough to be musical theater fans in this society - we really have to turn on each other the way the rest of the world treats us?

Sorry, but no one's ever gonna pay 3 bucks for a cup of coffe, broadwayguy.

Hahaha... Of course they won't. Did ya hear? Coke's changing its formula! They're gonna call it: "New Coke!"
Wow... That's awesome. I wish I was them... That would be SO much fun.

I've heard of those girls before. Apparently, the whole cast is scared of them.

Well if I was a member of the cast and people were dressing up as my character, I'd be scared too. haha.
obviously, they have no life.

That's a bit harsh. They're showing their passion for something they love in a really cool way. If I was in the show I'd never stop talking to them. They're obviously REALLY big fans, so it would be really good to talk to them.
Well, actually maybe that's my other fandom talking. I happen to be an HP freak too... Dressing up is no big event in that fandom... Lol.

I saw them walk into Starbucks. They were a sight. I didn't make the WEDDING SINGER connection, though.

No...it's freaky. And it scares cast members.

I can understand why some people would find it creepy, but I wouldn't. They like a show enough to make a public statement about it. I think that's cool.
Then again, I'm one of those weird kids...

I think using the word "scare" is a bit of a hyperbole. What's scary are threatening letters, etc. This isn't scary.
And, it's no creepier than people who spend their lives at the stage door, frankly.

Rath.. I didn't mean scary as in "they are going to do something drastic".. I meant it as in "oh my god... they look trashy and those costumes are awful and they are in PUBLIC that way!"

That is...quite amusing. In a sad sort of way.
A little swash, a bit of buckle - you'll love it more than bread.
