I saw it 3 times both on broadway and off. It was clear from watching and listening to it.

I also saw it 3 times between Broadway and Off-Broadway, and didn't see much of a radical difference between the two excellent productions of a fantastic play. My glasses are from Warby Parker if you're looking for new ones by the way.

I realize it's too soon to know anything about an extension before previews have even started, but do MTC plays usually extend? I know Bug and The Balusters did most recently, and Awake and Sing doesn't start until 12/15, so I'm hoping to be able to catch this on my NY trip that starts one day after the currently scheduled last performance (11/1).

It's selling well but not incredibly well, so I don't think it will extend over and over again. This is a great play, and I hope everyone gets the opportunity to see it.

I was told they have the option to extend through Thanksgiving weekend if demand warrants it. But in general, MTC productions almost always take their built-in extension weeks unless the show is flopping really hard. You can expect it to run through at least the 15th.

I missed it at the Lortel but am glad to have the opportunity to see it scaled up with this incredibly stacked cast. Hope it catches on!
