SIX: THE MUSICAL ON BROADWAY — Page 2

So my friend from Canada just messaged me. She is a season pass holder for the Citadel (where Hadestown played) and she just messaged me that she got her list of shows for next season in a preview mail. A Canadian premiere of Six is among them. As well as the Canadian premiere of Peter Pan Goes Wrong. There is not a press release yet I can find but she got it in a hard copy flyer.
All signs really point more and more to working it out of town to perfect it for Broadway.

Seeing this in London in a couple of weeks. Really excited for this, nearly more so than Company and Aspects of Love.

Talked to my friend again. She sent me a picture of her flyer and yuuuuup! I was like "maybe it's another something called Six" but listed as 'Six. Divorced. Beheaded. Live in Concert.' She said that they officially announce the season on Monday. Either they sent the preview to the subscribers too early or they wanted them to get a preview before the official announcement, but with the dates should come out on Monday. It looks to be listed as their second show in their line up.

Saw this tonight and OMFG!
I could expend my entire available vocabulary raving about this thing and it still would not be enough to adequetly describe how much I loved it.
It is just PHENOMENAL!
75 minutes of pure genius on every single level.
When it's announced get tickets fast because this thing is gonna be HUGE once it hits the US!

The show has a countdown plastered all over their social media for a big announcement for tomorrow. Could be the casting for Chicago and Canada? Or could be that they already landed a Broadway deal at the end of the road? Or both. I am excited either way.

The comments are begging for Broadway. Not sure if it would work any place other than Circle in The Square IF that were to happen, tho.

I'm wondering if they have already booked it. Oklahoma is a limited engagment til September. If Six plays it Canada run in November, it could land at Circle right after the New Year and it gives a gap for Oklahoma to extend as well.

I think Circle is too big for it personally, it's a tiny show.
It'd be much better in a smaller normal house. The atmosphere would be electric.

Saw it last week its a fantastic little show hope it transfer for you all. I don't think Circle would work.
It needs an intimate, fringe style venue I'd imagine.
Get tickets straight away, we hoping to go back to visit it was so good.

Announcement was for a sing-along performance.
I do hope it does come NY eventually! I've been obsessed with the cast recording and won't be able to make the Chicago run.

Thinking about sneaking this into a jam-packed theater week - is it safe for me to see a 6PM performance if I have another show to see at 7:30 down the road (2 minutes away)? Do they always begin performances on time?

It usually starts about 5 minutes late but you should still make it.
Otherwise you could just leave at the curtain call/encore which is just a medley of each of the Queens songs that you'll have already heard.
Whatever you're going to see will also probably start 5 minutes late so you should be fine x
I'm going for the 4th time on Thursday!
