Very nice to see her get a full unrushed segment, song and interview.
She sounded great singing "I Found Someone" and was absolutely lovely in the interview.
I'm sure the clip will be online soon.
Indeed. What a beautiful showcase as it wasn’t just a performance but an extended interview. No mention was made of the other 2 actresses so millions who just now learned about THE CHER SHOW vía this performance on The View will assume Stephanie is the only person playing Cher.
Patiently waiting on the west coast. Thought it would be uploaded somewhere by now...
That was stellar, but I’m also hoping they will soon appear on one of the late night shows (Fallon, Colbert, Meyers) with some of the ensemble and do a fuller number.
I’d actually KILL to see the three Chers do “Song For The Lonely”

Shoulda won for Falsettos!
Took till a few posts down but had no idea who "SJB" was.
Yeah, she was amazing!! Glad they got a little interview in as well. Lucky studio audience getting free tickets.

I'm not familiar all with SJB, so seeing her on THE VIEW was my first time. I thought she sounded very much like Cher, but didn't look like her at all (looked like a bad drag queen, IMO). However, her short interview onstage was great. She seems like a very genuine, lovely woman. Very gracious, very humble. Too bad they didn't give her a longer segment at 'the table'. Maybe someday she can guest cohost, as I think she would be very interesting on 'Hot Topics'.
SJB is phenomenal as Cher, but I feel like these daytime slots ( View and Kelli & Ryan) do her and the show no favors. In daylight, it looks so campy. You need to see the singing in context of SJB acting Cher in the other scenes for the immersion to work. A stand along song in drag looks awkward IMHO. SJB should get the Tony no question.
If the producers were smart they'd be putting Micaela and Jarod on Daytime TV. That would be more dynamic.
I think The Cher Show is hurting. Was there last week and the mezz was 2/3 empty and orchestra was a 1/3 empty. I've been to shows doing poorly before and never thought the theatre looks empty. The Cher Show looked and felt empty. Energy was low.
I hope warm weather helps them out.
Of course, out of the context, she is going to look a little silly on TV. It works perfectly on stage.
