The stage was very dark…if you were not very close, you probably wouldn’t know or, more likely , you might realize he was naked even though you couldn’t be sure. Sorta like Audra in Frankie and Johnnie (who I always assumed was NOT).
Do Black people feel unsafe going to the theatre? If so, why?
Possibly a history of microaggressions from audiences and staff? I don't know the statistics for London theater, but I recall how black audiences at the recent Cannes Festival were being wrongly told they're "in the wrong seat" or "need their bags checked again" for the simple reason that they were black. Perhaps when black audiences are invited to a play and white audiences angrily complain they're being "banned or excluded" when every fact says otherwise, that would suggest to some black audiences that they're being told they aren't welcome.
Why were a bunch of recent posts that were critical of the play and/or Harris' public actions deleted? None violated the rules and all were civil. You can see post #74 by henrikegerman responding to a post that is no longer there.

Totally agree that posts are inconsistently deleted, but the post by TotallyEffed, that henrikegerman responded to (in post #74) is still up -- it's post #7.
