Samantha Harris from DWTS to star in CHICAGO

They just announced she will go in for the role of Roxie in July and August. IDK if this is old news. lol. Apparently, THE INSIDER has her audition tape and will show it on the show tomorrow.

Chandra Wilson is going to be in it starting in June sometime until the beginning of July, from what I remember.

I think this spells a disaster. I love Michelle DeJean when I saw it, and she made the role cute. Samantha Harris does not have that.

Its funny because this stunt casting seems to work for Chicago. People at TKTS always ask me "Who's in Chicago right now?' like its expected that some random cleb is to be in it at all times.

She actually used to be an actress. She was in the original LA company of Reefer Madness. I predict that she won't be that hot of a mess. Maybe even decent.

Samantha has a very strong background in theater and I suspect she will be very good, she's also extremely nice (not that it matters).

around 3:05 there is a clip from her audition tape. She doesn't look or sound half bad. She does sort of give off the whole "I really really really want to be famous!!" vibe. I think she might just be able to pull it off.
