I was just thinking about this show earlier and about it's brilliance. I mean, the show leaves you with so much to think about and I just can't get it out of my head. When I went to NYC last month, I saw this show and three others, the rest of which were comedies. While I loved every one, this one left me with something different. Michael John LaChiusa's music was gorgeous and sometimes haunting in the best possible way. It was brilliant. And just what it made you think about... the miracle and the murders and what really happened. It gives me chills. Anyway, I was just thinking about it and wondering if anyone felt the same way.

*raises hand* I really loved this show, and I think Michael John LaChiusa is a genius.
I don't THINK Michael John LaChiusa is a genius... I KNOW he is!
The show was sheer perfection. Best thing I've seen since THE WILD PARTY (which remains, in my opinion, the greatest show and score of all time). Everytime I hear the word "curiosity" I just HAVE to sing it...
I seriously may murder someone if the CD gets pushed back AGAIN... it's already painfully far away as it is, March 7?! Are you KIDDING me?!
At least we have BERNARDA ALBA to look forward to... that is, if one can obtain a ticket (with that cast in that tiny theatre I smell a sell-out).

It already closed, unfortunately.
I definitely agree that it was amazing and I can't wait for the cast recording.
o man! i thought so, that was wishful thinking*
thanks forgetregret
I agree 100000%! It was amazing and I'm still thinking about it (saw it thanksgiving week). Idina is my favorite, so that was amazing to see her, but it wasnt just that. The show just left me speechless and wanting more. I CANT wait for the cast album- the music and lyrics were incredible (sorry for my lack of spelling hah). I'm so glad people are embracing this show as much as I am. I'm so sad it closed- but then again it makes it more special that we saw it :oD
