Per the email I received today, cheaptix go on sale tomorrow (Oct 4). The specific time is not listed as to when they go on sale though.
”We're committed to making tickets available to every production via our CHEAPTIX initiative. After the first two $25 CHEAPTIX performances, single tickets for SING STREET start at $65–$125and vary by performance date and time. Is there a code for the CheapTix?
No, but tickets are going fast.
No code -- just the first two performances. Looks like they are sold out already

I got my $25 Cheap Tix ticket for November 25! Was in a queue for several minutes and had some issues with check-out but the ticket is mine!!
I was on right at noon and got CheapTix for the first preview! Very excited!!
I got two tickets in the front row for the first preview. Was in the queue for about 30 seconds. I must have been lucky for once lol
Woo Hoo! Will be at the 2nd preview on the 26th.

well I'm completely out of luck! This show was on the top of my Wish List for my trip in December, but the Im only in town for three nights and the only date that wasn't sold out had only 1 accessible seat left (atleast I didn't have to wait in a que)

2nd row just off center.
WOOOOO!
I won't be shocked at all if the entire run sells out this week.
For anyone who didn't get tickets, the production announced that the show has extended for a week, through Jan. 19. Also, there's still hope for cheap tickets. From the press release:
In addition, NYTW will also offer a limited number of $25 tickets to all other performances via a CHEAPTIX Digital Lottery in partnership with TodayTix. The lottery is offered in lieu of NYTW’s standard CHEAPTIX RUSH program to ensure that tickets are guaranteed at every performance.
I guess some people would prefer rush, because the digital lotteries can be so hard to win, but at least this is something.

no, but I’m verry jealous of those who did!!!
Scored tickets for when I am in the city! and they weren't a fortune at all...
The cheapest I saw was 95. Got them because it was almost sold out and it said that was the cheapest.

Just curious, why is there big enthusiasm for this?
I can’t wait for this. The film is such a gem

The movie is beloved and it is also has the same creative team as Once.
Going after Xmas. Wonder if they will keep it to a 90 minute one act like the film or try to stretch it out? The film uses a lot of well known songs as well as the new songs written specifically for it. Getting rights to all those would be expensive so I'm guessing the real world hits get cut. I've never found the film's ending totally satisfying whenever I've watched it, so am interested in what they do.
If I lived in NY I definitely would have bought that package where you get to attend rehearsals and tell them everything they're doing wrong.

Beloved? I barely know anyone that's even seen it. Very curious about the score since the movie had a limited number of songs unlike Once

It actually gained a large following from when it was on Netflix.
