Just in time for rehearsals for Annie. He also had put in his FB when he was in NYC for audition and meeting. And has been back in NY this past week.

the actor just recently played the role and will be making his broadway debut.
a corny collins will play rooster
Well if we're going by the comic strip, then they need to cast a blind Annie, beacause she didn't have any eyes.
She had cataracts the poor dear. Orphens weren't allowed to see eye doctor. Just like they weren't allowed to win spelling contests.

And obviously weren't allowed to have normal names. Who names their kids: July, Pepper, Duffy and Tessie?

A lush like Miss Hannigan?
I'm not really sure what's considered canon in the Annie-verse, but in the novelization of the movie, it seems that July's parents were barely literate and meant to spell her name "Julie" when they wrote a note leaving her as a baby on the steps of the orphanage.
I have always wanted to see John Goodman in the role. To me, he embodies the gruff teddy bear that (I feel) Daddy Warbucks should be. Just an opinion, and probably not a very likely possibility, but it'd make me see the show.
Rumor on ATC is that Stephanie J. Block will be Grace.

Stephanie Block is not playing Grace.
I can tell you SJB is not playing Grace…or she wasn't a week ago.

Stephanie is absolutely, positively NOT Grace...she's not doing Annie.
Australian media are already reporting Warlow has been cast as Warbucks...

I heard that rumor last week but wasn't sure how to take it!
OH MY GOD
This has better be true- Warlow & Finneran in the Annie revival- Good Lord this would be great casting!
That same ATC post mentions Brynn O'Malley for Grace, I really hope that's true.
I can tell you they are talking to Brynn.
Great news! She'll be perfect if it ends up being her.
Warlow on Broadway? FINALLY! I'd sit though it just to see him live.
I think the only issue is that she's been approached with other opportunities.
Warlow??!?! WOW~ I'll have to see this for sure.
Congrats on the scoop, PBOL: http://www.playbill.com/news/article/166629-Gday-Daddy-Australian-Star-Anthony-Warlow-Lands-Role-of-Annies-Warbucks
