Looks like Cher will have to be in a broadway show if she really wants that EGOT. Soo any show ideas?
My first thought is her in MAME.
or her in a revival of Kiss of the Spider Woman

Of course it is.
I've always wanted her to do the Witch in Into The Woods and now that Streep broke the "young and beautiful" transformation mold, why not???
As in her past, I feel like it would be more likely to see Cher appear in a PLAY instead of a musical. I love her but I don't know is she would have the stamina for an 8 show a week singing and dancing extravaganza. However, I'd LOVE to see her come back in a play of some kind be it new or revival.
Short of a limited run concert residency some time after Cher Show closes, I cannot imagine that Cher is particularly into doing a Broadway show again.
Would and "honorary" Tony for a concert like with Springsteen On Broadway COUNT for an EGOT though? I always thought it has to be a win or nothing.

Exactly it’s a win or nothing.
But it if she really wants it as bad as it seemed on the tonight show. I am sure Scott Rubin is waiting in the wing to produce something like Bette in hello dolly and Cher can walk right on into EGOT status

-or-
She could hitch her wagon to a star as producer of a hit show. She wouldn't have to be on stage at all.

That is how Whoopi is an EGOT-- Tony as the Producer of Best Musical Thoroughly Modern Millie
I always thought Whoopi won for her one woman show?

You just have to a win a Tony Award, regardless in what form. Barbra Streisand qualified for the EGOT with her Honorary Tony Award given to her in 1970 for "Star of the Decade."

Since, of course, there are no rules governing an EGOT status, anyone can really determine themselves what does or doesn't qualify. Some people prefer a win in a competitive category. Others will be satisfied if someone just has all four statues.
