In the NYT article today, mentioning how the Green Goblin used to die in Act One, Healy confirms that there's still a second act. ("Yet there was the Goblin alive and well in Act II at Friday’s rehearsal of "Spider-Man," cracking wise in a new scene lampooning telephone voice mail.")

I would not expect any major change in running time.
Those "90 minute, no intermission" posts were just rumor.
"...a new scene lampooning telephone voice mail"
FINALLY, someone is lampooning telephone voice mail!
So, why are people going Thursday night (if you are), and why have you opted not to go Thursday night (if you've thought about it)?
I'm going on Thursday night because it was up on TDF. No deeper reason than that.
Thanks for the info, Julie! I didn't expect you to come back!

I am going on Thursday night too...
1. TDF ticket
2. Curious how it changed from when I saw it the first time
I hope they threw out like half the songs.

I wish I could be there Thursday night -- in honor of Yogi Berra's birthday.
ON THIS DAY IN:
1925 Yogi Berra was born [May 12th]. He was a well-known New York performer and subject of Off-Broadway Ben Gazzara solo play, Nobody Don't Like Yogi.
p.s.
When Yogi was asked, "When is your birthday?"
He answered: May 12th.
"No, no. I mean what year?"
Replied Yogi: Every year!

I guess I just missed your witty banter. Just for clarity's sake, I am referring to Jordan Catalano, not the other, more famous, JC.
So it actually going to happen tomorrow?
^ I think so!! They have actually invited the critics in June. This is the first time they have actually invited them. I'm excited to hear about the changes.

Everything is indicating yes. Having said that, nothing would surprise me.
I have to admit, having seen the first go 'round, I'm curious to find out how the show has changed.
I hope it's not gonna be 90 minutes... That would be very disappointing. I wonder how many of Arachne's songs will be gone.
And with 5 more aerial sequences, the possibility for injuries and stoppages are much greater.
This is going to be fun.

I know that their new commercial just recycles old footage, but they make it look exciting. Haha.
Did anyone else get a Carrie vibe from the new SM 2.0 trailer? Not just the way Carrie/Spiderman are positioned on the floor, but also the "eeeerie" music.. Not trying to draw comparisons or whatever, it just struck me viscerally.
"Spider-Man: Back In the Saddle Again"
Can't wait to hear the reports. This is history in the making.

Agreed. I just saw it on youtube, I wish they went with a more action packed number.
