Gymman is it not the best place to spend time.
I saw so many shows...but that was back in th 80s..I am to far now to enjoy it but this has me wanted to have a roadtrip to see her.My friend used to work as an usher and he said he met everyone and it is amazing how nice most stars are....He loved Sally Struthers LOL..
It is, and what a rich history the theater has: everyone for Bette Davis to Charles Busch...
Struthers is beloved at the theater, and is kind to everyone.
Rachel York up next in Spamalot.
And the guy from the Nanny, right? Charles Something?
Shaughnessy....Charles SHAUGHNESSY
Yeah, or simply "Mr. Sheffield"! Haha.
When I was in London last summer, I saw Stefanie Powers walking in the West End Theatre district with friends. She was gorgeous...and very petite.
yes...mr.sheffield
Powers is beautiful; as I said earler, she shows us how to age gracefully'
BTW opening night and late party last night, yet she was at the gym this morning.

If you have them uploaded to a hosting site like Image Shack or Photobucket, you can just paste the direct link in the body of the message. I'd love to see them!
Thanks, WW

She looks fabulous in the third picture! from RC in Austin, Texas
Why is Max costumed like he should be working on the Titanic?
That's the outfit from the original Broadway production; he's dressed as a driver here. Just took Norma to Paramount.
The third pic is her AIWNSG outfit.
Those pictures are fantastic - thanks for posting them!

Just got back. I'll echo what someone said earlier. Ms. Powers was a revelation! I had a feeling she'd be a strong actress in the part, but I had no idea her singing would be so good. She really broke your heart. And she looked stunning. Those pictures don't do her justice. Glad I made the trek. But a big warning: traffic is horrendous on the road leading into Ogunquit. Give yourself LOTS of extra time. I mean lots. Like an hour.

She looks AMAZING. 68?? Wow..
Yes, a revelation...I had no idea what to expect, but her acting is so powerful that she avoids the obvious and reaches the pain in the character; I actually had no idea she had been in so many other shows, mostly in London. The funny thing is, she could have been a huge Broadway star.
I saw the show Thursday night(opening night) and I feel I saw a completely different show than the rest of you. I thought Ms. Powers LOOKED great for her age and that's it. I went with 4 people and we thought Betty was good and I thought Joe was ok but Ms. Powers underwhelmed me with her acting and singing. I could overlook the singing but I couldn't with the acting. I just don't think it was a good fit for her. I'm sure she would be better in a different show that fit her talents better. I love Sunset and I left feeling disappointed.
Just my two cents...
In bookstores everywhere. This November.
Does anyone know if Ogunquit does student rush? I'm considering going up one day next week if I get a few days in a row off from work (and if my car eventually decides to not turn the engine light on every time I fill it up...), as I'm only a 2 hour drive, and it would be great to see it for less than $59 haha
I couldn't find anything about it on their website but I know Theatre By The Sea doesn't publicize their rush policy and I was thinking maybe Ogunquit does the same.
