Great logo, but the marquee looks bland. Its really classy, but I wish they would spice it up.
For anyone who hasn't seen the marquee yet: the composers posted a picture of it on their blog: http://www.bartramandhill.com/new.htm

I smell a big ol' flop!
And people are complaining that so many shows are closing... what do you expect when you are given shows like these?!?!
Yes, the show will flop because you don't like the artwork.
I'm no fan of the artwork (it reminds me of a very bad self-help book), and the show will probably flop, but I have faith in the show's quality. And I love Gets and Chase.
No, I think it will flop because of what I posted 2 months ago (https://forum.broadwayworld.com/readmessage.cfm?boardid=1&boardname=bway&thread=985060#3738251):
"Have these Producers not learned that, especially in today's time but overall, in the history of Broadway, opening a new contemporary show with a cast size that you could count on one hand's worth of fingers will ALMOST DEFINITELY not recoup... How is that a smart business decision.
Open it Off-Bway if you love it that much and hope it becomes the next I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change!
Not the next Glory Days or Title of Show!! THIS IS A BUSINESS, YOU WILL LOSE MONEY!!"

I saw the marquee and artwork the other day and thought it was way too plain. No way that's going to sell a show -- and this will be a tough sell to begin with.
I get a Catered Affair vibe from this: some will love it, but most will be underwhelmed, and it will close in a few months.
"a few months"???
Try a few days maybe a week or two, if it even gets to opening night...
I actually like the artwork, but the marquee does look too plain to sell the show. I agree with the poster above that said the show has a "Catered Affair" vibe. Still, I plan on buying tickets to this show (hopefully for March or April). Does anyone know if it's one or two acts?

I like the artwork! I wish both Will and Malcolm the very best with the show!

I hope for all concerned it is good, but you have to admit the advertising is a bit bland...
You guys trash marquees as if you expected to see naked men and fireworks on them. It's a ****ing marquee. There's only so much you can do.
Well that's true Bobby, but some graphics and color never hurt anyone...
The theatre is in a prime location, and it's a very small space for a musical.
With positive reviews, this really has the potential to find an audience.

That couldn't hurt...

It does need something, but I remember the marquee for "Dividing The Estate" being just as plain and boring, but after it opened it got slightly more interesting. But I do agree. It needs something. Maybe a book motif, or something?
I was in NYC when the logo was up, and I walked right past the the theatre looking for the logo and marquee thinking to myself "Did they change theatres?"
And to anyone who thinks this sounds like a Glory Days, you are all wrong, it SHOUTS with a megaphone GLORY DAYS.
I actually thought GLORY DAYS' advertising campaign was pretty catchy. Great artwork.

Why are you re-designing the marquee for a show you admitted knowing nothing about in a previous thread. Did you finally discover Google tonight?

i like what they have now, which is, IMO, better than this:
which is what they used at Goodspeed.
