Because she's incredibly awesome and deserves a thread.
Who here has her CDs?

Hey there,
Her Coffeehouse CD is well worth a purchase. She sang "Taylor" as well as "Gimme, Gimme" last week for me in a benefit in LA. She is not only a brilliant performer, but a consummate professional and one of the sweetest people I've ever worked with.
I only have her "So Far" CD and I must say, I love it. I think her voice is fantastic.
Jamie, and don't forget that anyone in NY can catch her NYC Cabaret debut on Nov. 7th at Joe's Pub. It promises to be an amazing evening...
Craig, what's a debute?

Hello Jamie :)
It's spelled "Debut" (no final E) and it means the first appearance of a performer.
I hope you're taking notes, because I'm giving a pop quiz tomorrow...
Talked with her many times, shes wonderful. I recommend all of her albums.

Millie - I think he means 'cabaret' as a genre of performance, not the show.
We're seeing Ms. Egan along with Jason Graae in an evening of dinner and cabaret next week
Debute is Debut when you are overtired and typo :)
The question was:
"Who here has her CDs?"
And he responded: "Does Cabaret count?" So, I was just making a simple correction.

Millie - since he didn't capitalize 'cabaret' I assumed he meant do CD's of her cabaret performances count. Really doesn't matter in the long run.
I think many here may know that I adore Susan Egan - I think she is so talented, and more importantly, an amazing person. She is so gracious, and I can't wait to see her at Joe's Pub. I have all 3 of her CDs - I could never pick a favorite, all are truly awesome!
I have "So Far" and "Coffee House." I think Susan picks great songs that are so rarely heard. I can't wait to see her cabaret!

i don't have her solo cds, but i have the BATB obcr. she rules. i love susan.
Has anyone seen Susan in BATB? I wish I did, but at age 7 my Broadway experiences were limited to about nothing.

my friend did. she doesn't really remember anything though because she was really young. She remembers enjoying Susan's performance a lot though.
Um, yeah, sure...
Anyways, Susan Egan is wonderful! I got a picture with her at the stage door of Millie. I think it was right after her performance in Shubert Alley (she had her Millie shirt and jean skirt on, and that was the same outfit she wore in the pictures I saw). I enlarged the photo and framed it, but the frame broke.
So I have to buy a new one; stupid cheap frames.
Well... I *think* I saw her in LA. I was like, 6. I'm kicking myself now because I don't have my Playbill anymore... but I do have my program and she's in it so I'm assuming I saw her.
I'm going to try and get her solo CDs...I was listening to AccuBroadway and fell in love with her Nothing from A Chorus Line...and then I wanted to listen to it again...of course now it never comes up.
