I saw the show tonight on lotto and it was a friggin blast. My lotto seat was second row orchestra partial view (B-11), but I I only missed the big screen in the back.
I think this show was one of the better biomusicals ever made, because it struck that sweet balance between seriousness and levity. I very much agree with the NYTimes article that was recently posted about it.
SJB was on FIRE and the audience ate her up from the minute she walked on stage. Jarrod Spector also has the audience stunned when he started singing I Got You Babe as Sonny Bono. Some of the material was a bit superfluous (the Lucille Ball cameo bothered me - especially because she got a song and anyone who saw the film version of MAME knows...well). But the whole production is a true spectacle true to who Cher is and will forever be.
The stage door was rainy as hell but we still got quite a few people (Wicks, Diamond, Spector, Berresse, and some ensemble). All in all a fantastic night and Im really excited to go back in March.
P.S - Apparently I was very visibly lip-syncing Gypsies, Tramps & Theives and I thought I saw SJB clocked me with a finger point during the song. She later confirmed it on Twitter for me and I was like Yaaaaasss
