Please say Sherie says my favorite line in the whole movie "Nice work boys that was a close one, too close, the little tramp! Uh she's better than I thought.."
She said something like that. Not sure she called her a tramp though. When they shock the boat, the lighting is out of control! I actually jolted in my seat!
Little Merboy:
Clearly one of the gayest screen names I've seen on here.
And that's a compliment!
Bask in it! Congrats!

Waiting for reviews with pictures is tougher than I thought. I better see some Ursula soon.
A quick question for those who have seen the production. How's the chemistry between Sherie Rene Scott and Sierra Boggess? I haven't really heard how well those two interact on stage.

Their chemistry is good. Sherie just inhabits the role. She gives Ms. Boggess a lot to react to. If they get the problems fixed, I think a lot of people are going to go to see Ms. Scotts performance. It could turn out to be one of those performances people talk about. And it could grab her a Tony nom. I liked her more in this than "Scoundrels"
I totally love your avatar, FutureAladdinOnB'Way. Is that from "Kiss the Girl"??

I'm SOO glad Sherie's in this role...she's just fabulous, and ursula is such a great character. I think no matter how bad or good the reviews will be, the 11 year old girl in me will HAVE to see this!

Thanks! yes it's from the "Kiss The Girl" scene.
"The gigantic white elephant here are actually two gigantic, (probably million-dollar) corkscrew columns that anchor Tsypin's stage, but to what effect I have no earthly idea. All I can say is that corkscrews are for bottle-opening, not for undersea set-anchoring."
Their sex toys I tell you! ...that's what they looked like...
I'm tellin' ya, the first thing I thought of was bongs. Big aquatic bongs.
Yes, the audiences here for TLM may be "undemanding," but can anyone honestly say that the NY audiences wouldn't be similar? The target audience for Disney shows in general isn't seasoned theatregoers looking to see someone reinvent the wheel, let's be honest.
So is John Treacy Egan playing Grimsby now instead of Jonathan Freeman? Or was Freeman just out during the press performance(s)?
I'm surprised they cast somebody as old as Sean Palmer as Eric.
How old is he?

Baritone - one of the other reviews mentions that Egan is playing the Chef.

I thought the set peices looked like giant balance scales.
Um the kiss the girl pictures look like a scene from Thumbalina
yes it does look like thumbalina...but still beautiful in a way.
Oh! I recognize someones SN from another site.
Um, not surprising Sherie is getting nice reviews.

Ugh. I'm dying to see a picture or Sherie as Ursula. I'm guessing this is one of the main things they don't want us to see.
I feel realllllyyy dumb. I had no idea that Heidi Blickenstaff was in this show. At all.
I'm going to hide in a corner now.
That's good that Sierra is good along Sherie. So during the Poor Unfortuante Souls scene is it similar to the film when the little worm urchins grab Ariel's hand and Ursula says "Come in, come in my child..."; or did they cut the whole exchanging Ariel for King Triton (and turning him into one of Ursula's urchin people) deal near the climax?
Heidi is in the ensemble, but I can only imagine that she is also an Ursula understudy. She fits the bill to a T.
I thought Heidi is the head maid or the main lady that helps Ariel when she stays once she's human? If so, I thought she was great!
I think the seagull costumes are fun for those guys. I personally think it works better than some other costumes.

You mean Carlotta? She was the one in the movie who, I believe, likes Chef Louis. By the way, who plays Chef??
