So long to The Notebook. It feels like a lifetime ago that people thought this might be the show to beat, commercially and in the Tonys, last season.
I thought the show dragged for large portions - I like some of the songs individually but put together, I thought Ingrid Michaelson's score was a snooze.
But Maryann Plunkett and Dorian Harewood's performances will stay with me for a long time. They were brilliant.

I know the broadway company is managed by Theater Matters(John E Gendron), though I recall the broadway company of Mrs. Doubtfire was managed by Theater Matters and the tour ended up being managed by Work Light."
I am also curious about this. Completely educated guess with zero knowledge on what they plan to do but I also don’t see why they won’t give it to Work Light? My hypothesis is that Alchemation/Theater Matters probably doesn’t have much to gain except an extra workload from keeping it in-house. I can imagine that Six on Broadway and its tours might benefit from being synchronously handled internally, since it’ll likely continue touring for years, is a lighter production, is easy to exchange staff. I read it as a bit more of a “flagship” project for them than Doubtfire or Notebook is.
That’s my headcannon though! Could pan out the exact opposite way and maybe I am caught talking out of my booty lol.

Right?! I only saw this once and I wasn’t inclined to go again, but I thought Plunkett had one of those devastatingly mesmerizing performances that the Tonys are made for
