So excited! Can't wait to see the performances - hope they do a lot better this year, the performances last year were very underwhelming with the exception of Great Comet and Bandstand (though I had also seen all of the shows last year, while this time around I haven't seen any of the shows so these performances will be my first views - but that makes it more important since i'm placing a decision on what to see in a few weeks based on how good the performances are!)
Also is it wrong I want Ethan Slater or Gavin Lee to win just for the joy of being able to call Squidward Tentacles or SpongeBob Squarepants a "Tony Award Winning Role"? Though from what I've heard if Slater does win it would be deserved, so there's that too!

I was thinking the same thing. I already had 0 interest, but I thought I’d be intrigued. I’m even more confused by the hype now.

That was too long a performance for a not very good show. It's like the band playing on as the Titanic sank.
