That looks like Glitter Barbie.
This TV show was designed by Mattel.
The original costume is lovely. As for the "beautiful" NBC version, I've seen that headpiece before.

I'm holding all judgment - if any - until Dec. 3.

I thought that we discovered months ago that these were fakes.

The best thing to do then is to go through the last 34 pages until you find that part of the discussion.

I am not sure if the yellow brick road will be a road or a group of dancers. Cause i saw in one of shanice's snapchat videos a little bit of the ensemble. They were wearing all yellow.

This is why we never got a cast recording or soundtrack for Cinderella in 1997. Brandy and Whitney Houston had contracts with competing labels and would not allow them to record an album together, especially not even as guest artists on Disney's label."
You're right. I didn't think about that. We probably won't have a recording of this one.

OMG!!! I am so not impressed! And I was looking forward to this but absolutely nothing released has me psyched. The "Brand New Day" dance ensemble look like their dressed as candy corn. Don't get me started on Queen Latifah's Wiz get up, which makes her look like an angry lesbian.

What do you think of uzo, common, and amber's costumes?
If that's how Queen Latifah is going to deliver all of her lines I'm done.

The music sounds generic. I hear none of that soul in it. In the very beginning, we see munchkin land. Stephanie and uzo look beautiful. Amber's costume looks interesting. Queen's costume looks better than what was shown before. And couldn't paul tazewell come up with better costumes for the ensemble during the brand new day scene?

Okay, so
The Good:
-I love Addaperle and Glinda's costumes! I was a little bit off-put when I first saw Glinda's costume, but it looks beautiful on Uzo Aduba!
-I think I like the production design for the most part
-The little bit shown of Common as the gatekeeper gives off an MC/DJ kind of vide, and I like that
The Bad:
-Like I said, I like the production design for the most part, BUT the Emerald City? It just looks a little ugly to me, and I don't know exactly why
-Queen Latifah's costume and line delivery in that promo
This definitely isn't as stylized and unique as The Wiz might have been originally, but I don't think it's reached Muppets Wizard of Oz territory...yet. I think this does have something a little bit stylized to it..the way the costumes, specifically the witches--they look like they were born from color and light. Addaperle from Blue, Glinda from light and yellow, and I'm presuming Evilene will be from black and darkness.

For some reason I hoped they would make Queen Latifah into a glamorous women Wiz. Instead she sort of looks like the grinch.

Same here. I was hoping that they would really emphasize the female Wiz aspect--make the character really different and unique.
If she's going to be a female in a position of power make her look authoritative! Give her a costume that speaks for her since her line delivery isn't letting us know she's in charge.

The music sounds too pop for me. It sounds very generic. It doesn't sound authentic for me. The costume for queen looks good but that hair and makeup could have been better.
