Maybe they're doing "Don't Walk Away" to make all the Tony voters think, "DAMN, how could we miss Cheyenne Jackson?!"
Speaking of the man himself... Clicky click below...

Do-over alert! Tonight when the muses started singing "I'm Alive" it was obvious the PA was out, because the band sounded muffled back in the corner. So they stopped the show, put on the house lights, and announced they'd restart in a minute from the top.
Cheyenne made a joke out of not looking at Clio's arm (again) while he was sketching (again) and everybody laughed. Then the muses rose (again) and you knew as soon as the drum kicked in that all was well.

Good luck tonight to Xanadu!
My fingers & toes are crossed for at least one Tony win tonight.
If it wins Best Musical I will 'rejoice with abandon.'

Got a last-minute ticket for the show last night. The house was full and everybody was giving their all -- one of the most energetic performances I've seen of Xanadu.
Highlight for me was one of Jackie's ad libs. In the front row of the on-stagers, there was only one woman. Jackie cracked, "What's a decent looking woman like you doing in this crowd?" (Big laugh). Then, "You're not their drug dealer, are you?" (House went wild.)

I would love to know what goes on in Jackie Hoffman's head sometimes! Hilarious!

Yes it WILL! (atleast, I hope so!) :)
OK>>>SPOILER?
Just got back from the Tony Awards rehearsal and XANADU looked and sounded amazing, from the great set recreation to some vocal tweaking, it was really awesome and for sure people will be scratching their butts wondering why Cheyenne wasn't nominated. If this doesn't sell tickets then .....
It's the best the show has ever been translated for the small screen!

Guess this comes a trifle late, but for what it's worth:
HUZZAH for the most entertaining show of this or many seasons. And a big THANK YOU and love to everyone connected with Xanadu, which has made so many of our lives a little bit happier -- no, I mean a LOT happier.
Can't wait to see the Tony show tonight and see Cheyenne et. al. Knock 'em dead!!!! We all love you!!!!!!!!!!!

WTF, GD and every other modified swear word I can think of...
Hoping the performance is incredible enough to keep the show afloat for a while longer.
They should have won Book !!!
They haven't mentioned when Xanadu performs except in the opening sequence. I hope I didn't miss it.
its the last of the best musical nominees to perform so you haven't missed it yet.
Great!! I seems like they perform in alphabetical order by show. Because Cry-Baby went first, then I believe it was Passing Strange but In the Heights was just on a while ago.
Go XANADU!
Whoop-whoop!!

Cheyenne was f-ing amazing.
Gives me a little hope that the show can go on a bit longer....although somebody better warn potential audiences that the man they're drooling over and admiring is out for the entire month of July.
OMG it was AH-MAZING!!!!!!!!
MY XANA-PEEPS!
CAN I GET AN A-MEN, AS CHEYENNE AND KERRY TORE OFF THE ROOF AT RADIO CITY HALL JUST NOW!!!
Sing it, Girls (yeah, that's you too Cheyenne!). That was an amazing arrangement of DON'T WALK AWAY. And Cheyenne was in amazing voice.
BRAVO!!!
That was effing awesome.
This was easily the best performance of the night next to Gypsy.
