So, does that mean that you won't be correcting anyone else, Ed? Just wondering. After all, everyone rushes and makes mistakes on the boards from time to time.

As far as Kerry--- she was out July 5th and 6th, and she might miss Sundays July and August.

Btw, does anyone know when Mary is due back? - I believe she was going to be out the end of July. (TIA !!)

On another note--- Think Whoopi is going to be amazing !!!

As long as Whoopi makes her own dent in the show and doesn't fall into Jackie's, I see a hilarious Calliope in her future! I can only imagine how well Mary and Whoopi will play off of each other!

Don't jump to any conclusions, Robbie. It allows for Xanadu to stay there through all of 2009. Assuming the show still has some box office power by the end of 2009, I would guess that someone would want to move it. Of course, as far as I'm concerned, it could run until the year 3000 and I'd be happy (if not alive). Xanadu has come close to shuttering before, but keeps on going, thank God.

Almost any day works for me but papa Ed doesn't come in to the city on weekdays but we'll 'taaalk about it.'

I laughed when I thought 'Whoopi's going from THE VIEW to THE DU.'

WORD SISTAS!!! I blew it for the 9th too. He who hesitates is lost. August tickets are going fast since Whoopi Goldberg's coming in & Cheyenne returns. Long live XANADU... Huzzah!

But since I'm seeing A CHORUS LINE on the 6th I just got a ticket for the next BOYS NIGHT EVENT (yes... women are invited too) on the 13th. Wake up y'all & please Du come. I got 3rd row Center Orch - woo hoo.

They still have some great seats available for $69 and that includes the post show party, with 90 minute open bar at The Ritz Lounge...

Ok so I do think today's show completely won! Of course Curtis and Patti are absolutely adorable as Sonny and Kira! I'm so happy I got to see them a couple of times together.

Also it was Ryan's last show apparently? I had no idea! That's sad

The real show stopper of today was of course Jackie, who for her adlib she said to 2 men sitting on stage "are you enjoying my performance today?" and then suddenly broke into "And I'm Telling You I'm Not Going" like did like a whole verse of it. Then went back to her spot and everyone was still laughing about it, so then she went on and did the entire end of the song! It was AMAZING! Everyone in the entire place completely lost it... I couldn't stop laughing forever after.
Patti tried so hard not to break but she ended up hysterical too... and Curtis did a little spin around to kind of get back into the scene. It was just the funniest thing.

Then after curtain call Jackie literally was trying crawl back on stage yelling "I'm not going... NO!!" Andre was pulling her away.. soo freakin' funny. Another great day at the 'Du!


Oh I also heard that Andre is going on as Melpomene on Tuesday and Wednesday-- just case anyone wanted to know. That will be so much fun, I'm sure!
